Channel 12 Manipulated Photos of Her Son in Brain Death Against Rabbi Berland
and the Abundance She Received After Drawing Close to Him

A righteous woman expresses her indignation that footage from a visit to the sick, conducted by the holy tzaddik, Rav Eliezer Berland shlit"a, to her son who was in a state of brain death, was misused.
"I am sitting with friends and, in my innocence, I see lies on Channel 12 news. They show how Rav Berland arrives at my son's sickbed and claim that he promised me he would heal him from brain death. This is a complete lie; Rav Berland never promised me any such thing. On the contrary, he arrived at three in the morning; I caught him after he left a Torah class at the 'Beit Rabbeinu' study hall in Holon."
"I said to him, 'Rav, please come to give a blessing.' Rav Berland, who is 80 (82) years old, ran there at three in the morning and did not ask for a single penny."
"So how can it be that Channel 12 takes the video of my son, shows Rav Berland blessing him, and lies with such brazenness?! And I have to see this—a woman who has been mourning the death of her son for 24 years—they show such a holy tzaddik and then lie about it!"
"You too, Channel 12, just because your eyes see something does not mean you can speak and broadcast it. The power of the media may be in your hands, but get off of Rav Berland. Do yourselves a favor, lift your eyes upward; there is a Hashem in heaven."
"There is a truth beyond that which you see with your limited eyes. My heart aches over the lashon hara (evil speech), over the character assassination being committed against a human being of flesh and blood. Dealing in lashon hara brings troubles."
On another occasion, the same righteous woman published a video in which a man is seen coming to repay her family for introducing them to the holy tzaddik, Rav Eliezer Berland shlit"a. These are his words.
"I came to thank you for sending Rav Berland to our home. I brought you the best fruits and vegetables, and I am giving you another 600 shekels from me. And you deserve it, because Rav Berland gave us a blessing ever since he came to our house."
"This is the first time I am meeting him and you. My mother did not eat, did not drink, nothing. After Rav Berland came to us, she threw away her cane and is walking. All of Rav Berland's blessings are good—whether it is candies or not, the very fact that he was there and gave a blessing is worth the world."
"Ever since Rav Berland came to our house and gave a blessing, all the faucets of abundance in our home have been opened—the bounty, everything."
