A PERSON ONLY NEEDS A SINGLE WORD OF ENCOURAGEMENT.

The moment you tell him you are strong, he will become even stronger.

I used to need to hear the word chazak (don’t fear) from someone. Come and pray, get up for chatzot (halachic midnight). Some word of encouragement, from somebody.

Rabbenu said, I served Hashem alone, I didn’t have any friends. If someone had merely told me the word ‘chazak’, the Rebbe said, I would have been many times greater than what you see of me today.

ALL THE TIME, WE NEED TO TELL THE OTHER PERSON ONLY ENCOURAGING WORDS.

Tell them chazak, and then a person will rise up.
