Dedication by Member of the Badatz, Rabbi Shachnazi shlit"a, to the Esteemed Rabbi Eliezer Berland shlit"a

A rare dedication showing the respect and appreciation expressed by a member of the Badatz of the Sephardic Haredi community, the esteemed Rabbi Yaakov Shachnazi shlit"a, to our teacher, the esteemed Rabbi Eliezer Berland shlit"a. The rabbi shlit"a himself testified that he received the book from the Badatz member of the Sephardic Haredi community, the son-in-law of the head of the Porat Yosef Yeshiva, the esteemed Rabbi Yehuda Tzadkah, who brought him the book many years ago.

Rabbi Shachnazi shlit"a opens his dedication with warm words, "In honor of the esteemed Rabbi, a public benefactor, our teacher Rabbi Eliezer Berland shlit"a, head of the 'Shuvu Banim' Yeshiva".

Rabbi Shachnazi continues and writes, "With feelings of respect and appreciation, I am honored to present to you my small book 'Pleasantness of Eternity', and I bless you, may it be His will that you continue to spread Torah and awe among the holy flocks in health and satisfaction until we hear the voice of the herald, speedily in our days, Amen".

Rabbi Shachnazi concludes the letter,
