Dedication by Member of the Badatz, Rabbi Shachnazi shlit"a

A rare dedication showing the honor and appreciation expressed by a member of the Badatz of the Sephardic Eda Haredit, the Gaon Rabbi Yaakov Ashkenazi shlit"a, to our teacher, the great Gaon and Tzaddik Rabbi Eliezer Berland shlit"a. The Rav shlit"a himself testified that he received the book from the member of the Badatz of the Sephardic Eda Haredit, the son-in-law of the Rosh Yeshiva of Porat Yosef, the Gaon Rabbi Yehuda Tzadka, who brought him the book many years ago.

Rabbi Ashkenazi shlit"a begins his dedication with the warm words, "To the honorable Gaon, our teacher and master, who merits the masses, Rabbi Eliezer Berland shlit"a, Rosh Yeshiva of 'Shuvu Banim'."

Rabbi Ashkenazi continues and writes, "With feelings of honor and appreciation, I am honored to present before your honor my small book 'Ne'imot Netzach', and I bless you, may Hashem grant that you continue to disseminate Torah and fear of Heaven among the holy flocks in health and nachas until we hear the voice of the herald (of Mashiach), amen."

Rabbi Ashkenazi signs the letter,
