Difficult to Listen: Rabbi Pinchas Bunker Testifies from the Opponents' Depths

Rabbi Pinchas Bunker is one of the famous mashpi'im (influencers) in Breslov and, until recently, was one of the opponents of the holy Rav Eliezer Berland shlit"a. In his words, Rabbi Bunker testifies about the cooperation with the opponents of Rav Berland and how he participated in all their schemes in the past. Now, he tells of his process of sobering up and confesses his past actions while exposing the despicable path of Rav Berland's opponents. Rabbi Bunker reveals an entire and inconceivable system of forgeries, lies, and cruelty toward anyone who does not align with those opponents.

"The persecutors of Rav Berland are motivated by interests of money, control, and honor—bribery, lies, threats, extortion, informing, mesirah (betrayal to authorities), and forgeries." "I am not into talking, but we must eradicate this plague; we must all rise together and shout—'Enough! Stop stinking up the garden, stop bringing the three sects of slaves into this.'"

"All day long they defile their mouths and give bribes. They told me explicitly that their method is to open a file against anyone who goes against them. The first thing they do is character assassination, and those are the exact words that A.H. said to me."

"How many times have I seen Y.H. and his brother A.H. swear falsely and tell lies. Every second word of theirs is a lie and filth about everyone. There is no person they haven't spoken lashon hara (evil speech) about; they only go and increase the machloket more and more."

"Leave us alone, go fight with each other, leave us on the side. Stop stinking up the name of our Rebbe."

"There is not one person in Breslov, among the influential rabbis who are men of attainment, who does not think that enough is enough with your machloket."

"You take the greatest servants of Hashem in Breslov and smear them, cursing the rabbis. It is true that I was also angry at a certain rabbi (Rabbi M.P.), but I sobered up, and as is known, I had a dream from the Rebbe."

"I pray for them every day that they will do teshuvah and emerge from all the evil of this machloket. Our Rebbe already spoke about the fact that one must see the good points in others."

"You see it in the young men. There is a big difference between now and before the machloket; all the young men are busy with politics and machloket, there is no normal form left in Breslov."

"Everything is a lie and falsehood. What they say about 'Shuvu Banim' is something I have investigated in depth; even those who started the machloket admitted it to me. They know that the reality is not as they presented it. All the inventions they fabricated—why doesn't the Beit Din come out with a letter already? Where have all the videos disappeared to that you said you had on Rav Berland?"

"Everyone knows that Rav Berland is a person who seeks out humiliation; I am not afraid to say it—they know this about Rav Berland."

"Now they are fighting me because I called them crazy. They already did it to a rabbi who called them sitra achra (the other side/forces of evil); they said, 'Now we will bury him.' That is their tactic; anyone who goes against them, they turn him into sitra achra, and then they have all their guys. They have Z., who also lied to me on the phone—a very gross lie. He told me that Y.H. was looking for me regarding a matter of great pikuach nefesh (saving a life). I asked him if it was real pikuach nefesh or 'Shuvu Banim' pikuach nefesh?"

"There was no pikuach nefesh; they just needed to 'bury' a person and wanted to get information from me, because they had no information and they tried to pile up lies. That is how their whole process is, and I am not afraid that they will talk about me—I am going to reveal the whole truth."

"I am not talking about men of attainment; I am talking about the simplest and most correct truth there is. Stop persecuting the ba'alei teshuvah, stop persecuting the servants of Hashem, stop persecuting holy communities in Breslov. Stop persecuting anyone who does not think like you; Breslov is much bigger than you, the Rebbe is bigger than you."

"Your Breslov is a world of chaos; it is a Breslov that does not exist at all, it is a Breslov that our Rebbe hated, a Breslov of distancing, of machloket. These are people who persecuted all the great ones of Breslov who wanted to bring satisfaction to the Rebbe."

"They are motivated by interests of money, control, and honor. They said about you that you are sitra achra because all day you sit and speak lashon hara. I pray that we will do teshuvah and shout 'Enough, we want the Rebbe.'"

"They use threats and extortion, informing; they told several times how they went to the police. And not only about Rav Berland; they have no problem with mesirah against anyone who goes against them. They have no problem with bribery and lies, with forgeries."

"As much as we shout, they will shout too, but the voice of holiness will win and the good scent of the Rebbe will return. Unity will return to Breslov, normality, and the crazy ones will leave Breslov."
