Donated to the Redemption of Captives and Was Miraculously Saved from a Fatal Accident - A Chilling Rescue Story

King Solomon says (Proverbs 21:18): "The wicked shall be a ransom for the righteous, and the treacherous in place of the upright."
The Metzudot commentary explains: "If a death sentence is decreed upon the tzaddik and the decree is annulled, the attribute of judgment is not appeased until a wicked person is given as a ransom (redemption) for his soul." If a decree is issued against a person, the attribute of judgment is not appeased until justice is done with the person, but the redemption of the soul sweetens and appeases the judgment.
A rescue story from a severe head-on collision, which could very likely have led, God forbid, to severe consequences.
The difficult conduct of state institutions under the guidance of the prosecution and the prison services, against our teacher, the esteemed Rabbi Eliezer Berland shlit"a, led to the call of the rabbinical committee shlit"a to establish an emergency fundraiser for the redemption of captives, the redemption of the tzaddik. The harsh stories about the criminal conduct against Rav Berland despite his advanced age as the oldest prisoner today, and his severe medical condition, led many to donate.
This week, stories began to be published about miracles that befell donors who were inspired to participate in the redemption of captives fundraiser. A Lithuanian student of limited means from Gateshead, England, reported that despite his difficult situation, he received back more than he donated through a miracle.
As this story continues to spread, a new testimony has already arrived about another person who experienced divine providence after donating for the redemption of captives. In his testimony, the person recounts how he was miraculously saved from a severe head-on collision!
Here is his story:
"The miracle happened to me just about half an hour ago after I gave the redemption of captives to our teacher Rav Berland today. I finished my Hitbodedut and left from Ramot towards the Third Wall Street in Jerusalem. I reached the traffic light at a speed of 90, there was a green light in front of me, and I was about to cross the intersection. Suddenly, a car came towards me from the opposite lane at a speed of at least 140 km/h. The car passed right in front of me, went over a traffic island, I didn't even have time to see it. I only saw dust, glass, and plastic shards flying onto my windshield."
[audio mp3="https://www.shuvubanimint.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/11/ניצל-מתאונה-קשה.mp3" autoplay="true"][/audio]"It hit the car next to me and simply threw it off the track, then continued in the opposite direction, towards the ascent, crushing another car along the way. For a moment I froze in place, I got out, and to my amazement, there wasn't even a scratch on the car. People got out of their cars, looked and asked if I was okay, while wondering aloud, 'How did he not hit you?'. I couldn't comprehend that a car passed by me at that speed and didn't hit me, as if the tzaddik took the car, somehow in the air, and passed it over me. Unbelievable, this is not an illusion, it happened just half an hour ago - they gave me life as a gift."
"By the way, all week I dreamed about cars getting hit, I told myself every day: 'Today I will drive more carefully.' I didn't understand what they were hinting to me from heaven - but, one must understand that when a person gives redemption of captives to our teacher Rav Berland, he is actually redeeming himself. This is not a game, a person must do something for the tzaddik. Saying 7 Tikkun HaKlali, redemption, prayer for the rabbi, a person does not know what has been decreed upon him."
"A person can easily save his life, for if he had hit me in a head-on collision..., the perpetrator got out of his car in a panic, hitched a ride, and fled the scene. Later, the police arrived and tried to locate him, I have no words to describe what just happened."
"May it be Hashem's will that everyone is strengthened by this story and gives redemption to the tzaddik."
"All the best, may we merit to see many more miracles and wonders."
