Emergency Campaign! "Rav Berland is literally living through miracles" - Words of the Rabbis shlit"a
Unfortunately, our teacher, the Gaon and Tzaddik, Rabbi Eliezer Berland shlit"a, was cruelly and intentionally transferred to Ayalon Prison. This is yet another cynical move by the authorities following the hearing scheduled for Thursday. After all, our teacher, the Rav shlit"a, has undergone two life-saving surgeries under general anesthesia in recent days. Beyond the complicated surgeries, the precarious medical condition of our teacher, the Rav shlit"a, and his advanced age—may he have long and good years—were, by all accounts, factors that necessitated his remaining under close observation in the hospital. However, the Prison Service, under the direction of the State Attorney's Office, cruelly decided to return our teacher, Rav Berland shlit"a, to prison.
HaRav Ofer Erez shlit"a said in a lesson he gave yesterday, "Our teacher, Rav Berland, has 26 different ailments; the Rav is literally living through miracles the likes of which have not been seen since the creation of the world."
HaRav Eliyahu Merav shlit"a spoke about the great importance of donating to the emergency campaign. Rav Merav mentions the strong connection between the difficult situation the entire world is going through and the imprisonment of our teacher, the Gaon and Tzaddik, Rabbi Eliezer Berland shlit"a.
"Our Rebbe says in Sefer HaMiddot that when an individual of Israel is captured—any individual, it doesn't matter which person of Israel—then, according to the soul of that person, the springs of Torah and wisdom are blocked from the generation. And when the tzaddik of the generation himself is captured, understand for yourself that everything is closed—there is nothing left."
"Because of this, the world is currently in a state of absolute madness."
"The meaning is that according to the level of the soul of the one captured, the world enters into chaos, and when the leader of the generation is imprisoned, then—may Hashem have mercy—look at how the world looks. There is no need to recount the wonders of our teacher, Rav Berland; it is enough to see how the world looks—shocking, everywhere you look, it is falling apart. The rumors are alarming, both in general and in particular."
"We must do everything, absolutely everything, so that our holy Rebbe, our teacher Rav Berland, is released from prison. And what can actually be done? Pray, and indeed we perform 7 Tikkun Klalis every day, but we must also raise a vast fortune."

"There is an emergency mobilization here for those who can and those who cannot, for our sake if not for his. The Rav is at the spiritual level he is at; he has no body at all, but we—each one of us—are in such states of constriction (tzimtzumim), therefore we must make every effort. I know it is difficult, but the entire House of Israel is 'solicited and gives' ("Rabbi Ba bar Acha said: You cannot understand the character of this nation—they are solicited for the Golden Calf and they give, they are solicited for the Tabernacle and they give," Jerusalem Talmud, Shekalim).
"We must do everything so that our teacher, Rav Berland, is released from prison. In such a great matter, we must make an effort on all possible levels. What has been requested to donate is perhaps difficult, but it is not the end of the world."
"We must, because when the world's springs are blocked, the world is destroyed—and to all who add, they add to him from Heaven."
"We are waiting for Rav Berland to be released, in order to open the springs of wisdom and to bring the complete Geulah, with the help of Hashem—which is what will be."
