Everything Depends on the Modesty of the Girls and the Boys • The Daily Lesson from the Gaon HaTzaddik Rabbi Eliezer Berland shlit"a

Here is the full lesson that was delivered yesterday, Monday night, the night of the 9th of MarCheshvan, Parshas Lech-Lecha:
So all the girls should lengthen all their dresses—young girls, little children, it doesn’t matter; from age three they need to lengthen their dresses down to the ankle. All ages—even from one until one hundred and twenty—down to the ankle. And the boys should break their “shiomi.” This “shiomi” brought all the terrorists—one thousand five hundred killed, four thousand wounded, two hundred and fifty captives.
So the Radbaz writes in siman 40 that captivity is worse than death—captivity is worse! They torture them there; they beat soldiers with murderous blows, they kick them, they break their bones. It’s impossible to describe the terrible torments they do to them there. And the Radbaz says this is worse than death. And only through the girls lengthening their dresses will we merit that no soldier will be killed.
Because Bibi got cold feet—poor thing, he’s in terrible fear; he doesn’t allow entering Gaza. The English say you can go in; the Americans say you can go in—after such a massacre. But Bibi the coward doesn’t dare go in. Yoav Gallant went crazy from him; he literally says, how did it happen—how did he become such a coward? But we don’t want any soldier to be killed, any soldier to die. The whole entry into Gaza isn’t worth it if, Heaven forbid, even one soldier is killed. All the more so if a girl raises a sleeve—then a thousand soldiers are killed. If she walks with a tight shirt—two thousand soldiers are killed. And all the boys should break their “shiomi”—it brought all the troubles; it’s the new patent of the Satan; it is the Satan himself! It is the Satan himself dressed up there! Every indecent picture is damage for life; it’s damage—one thousand reincarnations won’t atone for it. Every indecent picture a person saw on the “shiomi,” or an immodest picture, is damage for all reincarnations; no reincarnation will help anymore. A person enters such impurity—worse than the Generation of the Flood, worse than the Generation of the Dispersion. Now we read about the Generation of the Flood and the Generation of the Dispersion, all the abominations they did—it’s nothing compared to the abominations of this generation, where there is “shiomi” and a smartphone, all the newest technology that serves it to a person right into his face. Once a person had to travel to another city to do a sin; today everything is in his pocket in front of his face—one click and he dives into the seven chambers of Gehinnom! Even the seven chambers of Gehinnom won’t purify him; every forbidden image he saw—even the seven chambers of Gehinnom won’t help. And that’s what was with the terrorists.
Now Nachman Menachem wrote to me—now he is touring there among the army battalions—because they slaughtered all the camps in one second; in one hour they conquered twenty-one communities. Each community—five hundred terrorists. The female lookouts called the commanders of the air force, of the infantry: five thousand terrorists infiltrated, fifteen breaches in the fence, each breach twenty meters; they enter with jeeps, with tanks they enter; five thousand—by then they already took control of the communities. They were told: stop talking nonsense, let us sleep; now it’s Simchas Torah, we drank all night. Leave us… call again at three in the afternoon; manage on your own; we are now on Simchas Torah fulfilling “And you shall rejoice on your festival.” So all the commanders with Yoav Gallant, with Herzi Halevi—everyone—are a gang of drunkards, of hooligans, of bullies, who abandoned the Jewish people—such lawlessness has not existed since the creation of the world. It was nowhere—neither by King David nor by King Chizkiyahu—such abandonment, such contempt for human life. He says they turned the soldiers into cannon fodder; the soldiers are terrified. Nachman Menachem relates: everyone is lying under the tanks out of fear. Just yesterday they hit a tank; an officer and two soldiers were killed. Now they hit in Kissufim; an officer was also killed. The soldiers are exposed to anti-tank missiles; anti-tank missiles pierce the tanks as if it’s paper, as if it’s cardboard. All the tanks are nothing against the new missiles that Hezbollah has, and that in the north also killed some soldiers. And the new missiles of Hezbollah and Hamas are missiles that crack all the armor of the tanks as if it’s paper, as if it doesn’t exist at all. All the tanks are worthless against what they brought—equipment from Iran, equipment from Russia they receive. Our army has been revealed as the weakest army in the world, the most foolish in the world. Such a foolish army has not existed since the creation of the world—Bibi stands at the head, and his deputies Yoav Gallant and Herzi Halevi—the three greatest fools of all generations. They run the country; they run the Jewish people. It is written: ‘Kad ragiz ra’ya al ana avid lenagda samuta’—everyone should learn.
We said: every brother should learn a page of Gemara with his sister—this is all stories, all connected to this time. Every brother should teach his sister the Gemara Bava Kamma daf 50. There the Gemara explains everything: it explains about Nechunya the well-digger—once his daughter drowned, and Avraham came to save her, because he used to distribute water. In the past there were no kiosks, no bars—no “Tiger Inn” and no “Eagle Inn”—the whole world was wilderness; there were no wells. So Nechunya the well-digger would dig wells—from Bavel, from Charan he would dig wells up to Jerusalem—for the pilgrims. And that is the whole second chapter, “Osin Pasin” in Eruvin, about making corner-posts—whether it is permitted to water an animal on Shabbos or forbidden. And he would dig for the animals and make it ownerless for the public. So his daughter once slipped and fell into such a well. All this is on daf 50a in Bava Kamma—these are stories. So Rashi says: some old man came—I don’t know who this old man is—I was already in the water, a hundred meters down in the water; I held on for three hours; after three hours I said, that’s it, this is my end. Suddenly the old man appears, descends to me into the well—an old man with a white beard down to his navel, with such a beautiful ram, a sweet ram, a dear ram. And he takes me out and saves me, and seats me on the ram. He says: come on, get on the ram, I’m taking you out. Rashi says: who is this old man? It is Avraham Avinu! So a little girl at age three falls into a well a hundred meters, two hundred meters, maybe three hundred meters—and Avraham comes to save her.
Avraham Avinu comes to save every girl who walks with tznius! Every girl who is holy and pure—Avraham Avinu himself comes to save her!
After three hours an old man arrives with a white beard down to his navel, and he lifts her up—he puts her on the ram and takes her out of the well that Rav Nechunya dug. All this is on daf 50—this is everything; half the Gemara is Aggados. Everyone needs to read this Aggadah with his sister, with his mother; the whole family should sit and read the Aggadah. If the father doesn’t read it aloud, then the son should read it aloud; the brother should read it aloud. We must read all the Aggados in Shas—this explains everything that is happening today.
So the Gemara says there (Bava Kamma 52a) before the Mishnah: when Hashem is angry at the flock—angry at the Jewish people—He makes the leaders blind, foolish. Such foolishness has not existed since the creation of the world. So: ‘Kad ragiz ra’ya’—ra’ya means a shepherd. ‘Al ana’—that is the flock; ‘ana’ is the flock. ‘Avid lenagda’—‘nagda’ are the leaders of the flock. ‘Samuta’—they all become blind.
And that is what is happening today: Yoav Gallant, Herzi Halevi, Bibi himself—whom they thought would save the Jewish people—he brought us from bad to worse; he only led us to the lowest depths, to the seven chambers of Gehinnom. The soldiers are terrified; four hundred thousand are lying under the tanks out of fear; they shoot missiles at them, the newest missiles. They are forbidden to respond; they are forbidden—they don’t allow them. The UN doesn’t allow; UNESCO doesn’t allow; UNRWA doesn’t allow. Saudi Arabia doesn’t allow; Iran doesn’t allow. Whatever Iran says is holy of holies here. We have reached the lowest level—such a low level has not existed since the creation of the world.
And this depends only on the kosher girls—specifically the girls of Shuvu Banim—who walk with the absolute peak of tznius! In this merit we will merit the complete Geulah speedily in our days, amen!
