"First of all, a person needs to get married
then we make calculations about a house and where to find livelihood" - Words of the esteemed tzaddik Rabbi Eliezer Berland shlit"a from Motzaei Shabbat Bereishit

On Motzaei Shabbat Bereishit, the Gaon HaTzaddik Rav Eliezer Berland shlit"a arrived for a visit at the home of his student, Rabbi Eliyahu Meirav shlit"a. The Rav gave a lesson on matters of the weekly Torah portion and sang at length with the public. These are the words of the Rav shlit"a that he delivered at the home of Rabbi Meirav.
"A woman comes into the world in order to give birth to Mashiach ben David"
"Every woman comes into the world in order to give birth to Mashiach ben David; every woman needs to pray from the moment of her birth that she will be able to give birth to Mashiach ben David. 'And Lamech said to his wives' (Bereishit 4:23)—first of all, a person needs to get married; first Lamech got married, and afterwards, one makes calculations about what will be with a house, where will we bring parnassah (livelihood). It is not pleasant for me to tell, but after Lamech got married, he murdered Cain and his child. He crushed Tubal-Cain after he saw that he had killed Cain, 'For I have slain a man for my wound, and a child for my bruise' (ibid)."
King Saul was the reincarnation of Lamech
"Hashem avenged the blood of Cain after seven generations from Cain until Tubal-Cain, but Lamech received another 77 generations. Lamech was a prophet and knew that he would come in reincarnation as Saul. It is hinted in the verses that Lamech would come in reincarnation as Saul in another 77 generations. King Saul was the greatest tzaddik of the generation, 'Saul was a year old when he began to reign' (I Samuel 13:1); he would conduct himself with holiness like a one-year-old child. A woman has no sins; when Yom Kippur arrives, everything is forgiven for her. On Yom Kippur, women only need to go out in dances in all the streets. Instead of entering the synagogue and crying, the police come to the houses and compel them to go out in dances. 'There were no better days for Israel than the fifteenth of Av and Yom Kippur' (Masechet Taanit, Chapter 4, Mishnah 8)."
When the Holy Temple is built, women will dance on Yom Kippur
"With the help of Hashem, the Holy Temple will be built today, and on the next Yom Kippur, every woman will go out in dances. After the Holy Temple is built, women do not need to pray, nor do anything; they only dance. And all of this is hinted at in the verse, 'And Methuselah lived after he begot Lamech eighty-two years and seven hundred years; and he begot sons and daughters' (Bereishit 5:26): 'Shanah' (year) - 'Sh', 'Vayoled' (and he begot) - 'V', 'Et' - 'A', 'Lamech' - 'L'. Therefore, Joseph was only dancing during all the 12 years in prison, 24 hours just dancing. And this is the secret that our Rebbe (Nachman) says, that it is impossible to bring the Geulah (Redemption) except through dances. 'And it shall come to pass, because (eikev) you hearken' (Devarim 7:12) means that one jumps on the heels (eikev), one makes the heels dance."
The Geulah (Redemption) will arrive when the sole of Leah is connected with the crown of Rachel
"'That biteth the horse's heels (eikev), so that his rider falleth backward' (Bereishit 49:17); the whole matter is to connect the heels of Leah with the crown of Rachel. From the sole of Leah, the crown of Rachel is made. 'The heel (eikev) of humility is the fear of Hashem; what fear did as a crown for its head, humility did as a heel for its sole' (Etz Chaim, Gate 38, Chapter 3). Therefore, the Geulah (Redemption) will come when from the sole of Leah, the crown of Rachel is created, because the entire stature, the entire reality of Rachel, is made from the sole of Leah. Because Leah, all her life, prayed for her shidduch (marriage match); a person needs to pray from age 3 that he will have a son who is a Torah scholar, a son of Torah."
Leah prayed all her life not to fall into the hands of Esau
"Leah would go every day to the crossroads to hear stories about Esau, that he is a robber, a murderer, that he killed Nimrod, that he took the garment of Nimrod. For the garment of delights that Nimrod took from Adam HaRishon, whoever wears it, the animals kneel before him. Jacob, who took the garment from Esau, hid it in the land, because with it Esau could have been king over the whole world, and when Mashiach ben David comes, he will find this garment."
In the future, Rachel will roll through tunnels and be closer to Jacob
"Leah wanted a shidduch (marriage match) like Jacob, but they told her that Jacob belongs to Rachel and you cannot change the decree. Leah said that through prayer, one changes everything; that is how it turned out that Laban himself switched the shidduch (marriage match). Laban was afraid that if Rachel got married, Leah would not have a shidduch (marriage match), because the moment the younger one gets married, it becomes a million times harder for the older sister to get married. 'And Laban said, It is not done so in our place, to give the younger before the firstborn' (Bereishit 29:26), because 'tzeirah' (younger) is 10 times Leah; Leah = 36, tzeirah = 360. Leah was entirely just prayer, therefore she merited to get married first and also to be buried in the Cave of Machpelah. It is written that in the future, Hashem will make tunnels and Rachel will roll to the Cave of Machpelah and will be closer to Jacob than Leah."
"'Refrain your voice from weeping, and your eyes from tears' (Yirmiyahu 31:15); Leah has already finished crying, she is in the Cave of Machpelah with Jacob, but Rachel is crying all the time. 'Thus saith Hashem: Refrain your voice from weeping, and your eyes from tears; for there is a reward for your work.' From the 1st of Tishrei, there was no Tikkun Rachel, but from Wednesday night after Rosh Chodesh, we will return to say it at Tikkun Chatzot."
