For This Youth I Prayed — That He Should Always Remain a Youth • The Daily Lesson from the holy Tzaddik Rabbi Eliezer Berland shlit"a

Before you is the complete daily lesson as delivered by The Rav, Rabbi Eliezer Berland shlit"a, last night—Wednesday night, the eve of the 23rd of Av, Parshas Re’eh—after the Ma’ariv prayer:
“So Tzafnis, the mother of Avner, received King Shaul—because Shmuel told him, ‘Tomorrow you will be with me, in my section.’ For Shaul was ‘one year old’—his whole life he was like a one-year-old—like Moshe Rabbeinu, who is like one day old. In his lifetime, Moshe Rabbeinu did not merit to ‘grow old’; he always remained like one day old. Just as Channah said, ‘For this youth I prayed’ (I Samuel 1:27). Channah would dance all day long; therefore she merited a son like Shmuel the Prophet, who anointed David and Shaul. In this merit, the complete Geulah will come speedily in our days, Amen.”
To watch the replay of last night’s Ma’ariv prayer with singing and nigunim—the lesson begins at 41:55.
