Many readers wanted to know what is happening with the appeal to get Rabbi Berland released to house arrest. Sadly, the presiding judge handed down the decision to keep the Rav imprisoned until the very end of the trial - which could drag on for years, derech hateva.

The decision is being appealed to the supreme court, but in the meantime, we have to remember that everything that's happening currently has been foreseen and even orchestrated by the Rav, and that everything will turn around for the good, bezrat Hashem.

We will not lose hope, and we will continue to anticipate the imminent coming of Moshiach, and the very imminent unfolding of the complete geula, speedily in our days.

This year is unique, inasmuch as every family will be alone in their own homes, celebrating the Seder.

We have to remember that Hashem has decided this, and it must be for a very good, important reason.

Seder night is a night of open miracles, and we will continue to anticipate and to hope for a miraculous salvation this coming Wednesday night, when Hashem will remember his people groaning in suffering and bondage, and finally free us from the rule of evil.
