Ha’azinu: The Response of the Holy Tzaddik Rabbi Eliezer Berland to Those Who Persecute Him
While the storm of controversy against the holy Tzaddik Rabbi Eliezer Berland and his followers only keeps growing and growing—while worthless people pin lies on him and pile up empty words that never happened and were never created, against the Tzaddik and his people—The Rav shlit"a responds: “I ask all of our people, all of Shuvu Banim, not to respond. Let (the persecutors) do whatever they feel like—‘A fool lets out all his spirit.’” Yes, you did not misunderstand: even as they persecute him and try with all their strength to harm him with false accusations, the holy Rav shlit"a asks not to sink to the level of those who oppose him, and not to repay them as they deserve.

“Rebbe Nachman says (Likutey Moharan 271) that they throw diamonds at a person (when they disgrace him), and he should not throw them back. We need to accept everything with love—not to react, not to answer, not to do any provocations.”

“We must help them with whatever they need—with money, with cars. Let them slander and speak whatever comes into their minds. All the humiliations are only for our benefit, and this makes a vessel for the Light of the Infinite.”
