Heaven Forbid, Let Us Not Repeat the Mistake – 26 Years Ago, the Gaon and Tzaddik Rabbi Eliezer Berland shlit"a (may he live long and good days) Said: "Because We Didn't Dance Enough, We Missed the Geulah (Redemption)"

In a lesson delivered by the Chassid, Rabbi Moshe Tzanani shlit"a (may he live long and good days), one of the elite students of the Gaon and Tzaddik, Rabbi Eliezer Berland shlit"a, he mentioned a similar occasion that occurred 26 years ago. This is what Rabbi Tzanani shlit"a said: "During the holiday of Pesach (Passover), 26 years ago, the Rav shlit"a made a similar statement to his words now. The Rav said then that we must dance every night of the holiday until the Vasikin (sunrise prayer service) prayer. After the holiday, the Rav shlit"a said that we could have been redeemed, but because they did not dance enough, we were not redeemed."

Let us strengthen ourselves to fulfill the words of His Holy Eminence, the Gaon and Tzaddik, Rabbi Eliezer Berland shlit"a, and let us seize the remaining nights of the holiday and turn them into circles and dances. Iddo HaNavi (the street of the Shuvu Banim Yeshiva) must be full and bustling as it has been many times in the past. The Tzaddik sees things, and we must believe in this and not be a shlimazel (unlucky/clumsy person), as Rebbe Nachman warned.
