A moving shloshim gathering for Rebbetzin Leah Yocheved Zinger a"h in the presence of our teacher the Rav Berland shlit"a
Thirty days after the difficult and sudden passing of the Rebbetzin, Mrs. Yocheved Leah Zinger a"h, who was killed in a horrific road accident in Nissan 5786, a special Hitorerut Yisrael rally was held for the elevation of her soul. The rally was honored by the presence and words of our teacher, his holy honor HaGaon HaTzaddik Rav Eliezer Berland shlit"a, who aroused the public to strengthen themselves through the righteous woman’s lofty qualities and to rectify their deeds in the wake of her passing. During the gathering, Ma'ariv prayer with a minyan was also held.
Rebbetzin Zinger a"h, the wife of Rabbi Chaim Betzalel Zinger, one of the household intimates of our teacher the Rav Berland shlit"a, was recognized among the Shuvu Banim chassidut as a figure of kindness and self-sacrifice for the community, and merited special eulogies from our teacher the Rav shlit"a, who defined her as a "machine of chesed" and as a "public sacrifice" that ascended to atone for all of Israel in a time of distress. The days since her passing have been filled with rallies, eulogies, and renewed strengthening in Torah study, comforting mourners, and chesed initiatives established for the elevation of her soul — among them the opening of the Dream Room as previously published on the site.
The words of awakening from our teacher the Rav shlit"a live broadcast
Our teacher the Rav shlit"a delivered heartfelt words of strengthening, repeated his words from the first eulogy gatherings, and aroused the public to add in learning, in prayer, and in acts of chesed — continuing the pure path of the righteous woman. May her memory be blessed
We will continue to pray and arouse Heavenly mercy, that the merit of the Rebbetzin, Mrs. Yocheved Leah Zinger a"h, stand for all of Israel—for the annulment of harsh decrees, for the cessation of wars and sufferings, and for the complete redemption speedily in our days, amen. May her soul be bound up in the bond of life.
