Holy Fire: Hundreds on the Holy Shabbat Near the Compound of the Righteous Rav

A Kiddush Hashem in the public square: dozens of families and approximately two hundred people arrived for Shabbat Terumah 5780 in Ramla, across from the gates of Nitzan Prison.

"We felt as if we were in the holy kibbutz of Uman on Rosh Hashanah," testified the chaverim (friends) who were privileged to experience spiritual elevation during a Shabbat of unity near the place of detention of our teacher, the tzaddik, Rav Eliezer Berland shlit"a. "Chaverim arrived from all over the country for a holy Shabbat near our teacher, the Rav shlit"a."

As Shabbat approached, the students gathered in personal tents and organized themselves for the holy day. The participants conducted the prayers and meals according to the custom of the holy Breslov community, 'Shuvu Banim', with special melodies and holy fire. "There was a special atmosphere of yearning and longing for the tzaddik," the chaverim recounted.

It should be noted that throughout the entire week, the students and loyal followers of Rav Berland shlit"a remain near the detention center compound. The students pray, perform the tikkun chatzot (midnight rectification), and strengthen themselves by reciting the 'Tikkun HaKlali' (General Remedy) series of Psalms.
