"I can no longer speak for two days
I ask everyone to do two thousand Tikkun HaKlali" - The general mobilization for the healing of the tzaddik who sacrifices his soul for us

In the Shuvu Banim communities and synagogues throughout the country and the world, many gathered yesterday and today for prayers for the complete healing of our teacher, the Gaon and Tzaddik, Rav Eliezer Berland shlit"a, who has been weakened since last night.
Since yesterday afternoon, our teacher, the Rav shlit"a, has felt a general weakness, reaching its peak at midnight when he finished giving a lesson at a home gathering in Tel Aviv. The Rav shlit"a requested to return home and to cancel all home gatherings and programs for the rest of the night.
Immediately after the morning prayers, the students of our teacher, the Rav shlit"a, the Breslov chassidim, and all those who love the tzaddik mobilized as a matter of urgency, and launched a campaign for the recitation of the Tikkun HaKlali via the internet and other media outlets. In this way, they enabled the public to participate in the all-important prayer for the healing of the tzaddik, our teacher, the Gaon and Tzaddik, Rabbi Eliezer ben Atiya. The mobilization gained momentum, and already in the morning hours, many hundreds of Tikkun HaKlalis were recited.
In fact, already on the birthday of the Rav shlit"a, he wrote a letter in which he urgently requested to pray for his healing. This is the content of the prayer: "Please pray for the Rav that he should not pass away before Passover, but rather live long days until 210 years."
Yesterday, our teacher, the Rav shlit"a, addressed the entire public in a more direct and clear manner; these are his difficult words: "I have not been able to speak for two days, I ask everyone to recite two thousand Tikkun HaKlalis. To reach the recitation of two thousand Tikkunim so that the Rav can speak tonight (yesterday) at the Mincha and Maariv prayers, so that the Rav can give a lesson in 'Ketzot HaChoshen'."
"Because if not, the Rav will not be able to say Kaddish; everyone must save the Rav and restore to him the power of speech that was taken from him due to our many sins (a euphemism, due to our sins, we the students). Only the recitation of the Tikkun HaKlali can rectify everything, therefore we must reach the recitation of two thousand Tikkun HaKlalis, the entire community and everyone who loves and wants to help the Rav."
The whole world joined in the recitation of the Tikkun HaKlali for the tzaddik; the matter crossed circles and sectors. Although many thousands were already recited throughout yesterday, we must not rest! We must continue! The Rav said that the Tikkun HaKlali is his food and that is what sustains him! All of the people of Israel need the tzaddik! The tzaddik is the heart of the world!
Another group of students undertook to perform hitbodedut for 24 full hours for the success and healing of our teacher, the Gaon and Tzaddik, Rav Eliezer Berland shlit"a, so that throughout all hours of the day, there was someone performing hitbodedut for the Rav.
We are stopping everything now for the sake of the tzaddik, for our own sake!
