I’m Ready to Die—As Long as I Can Make My Grandfather Rejoice! • The Daily Lesson from the Gaon HaTzaddik Rabbi Eliezer Berland shlit"a

Here is the complete daily lesson as delivered by The Rav, Rabbi Eliezer Berland shlit"a, on Sunday night, the eve of Wednesday of Elul, Parshas Ki Seitzei, after the Ma’ariv prayer:
“So whoever would have revealed to Yaakov Avinu that Yosef was alive would have died on the spot. For twenty-two years they deceived the father, the grandfather—the greatest Tzaddik of all generations. And Serach bas Asher was not afraid. She said: ‘I am ready to die—what matters is to make my grandfather rejoice!’ And she began to sing: ‘Yosef is still alive, and he is king in Egypt, and he has two sons—Menashe and Ephraim.’”
To watch the replay of last night’s Ma’ariv broadcast with singing and niggunim—the lesson begins at 39:30
