In Honor of the Holy Hilula

Here is the report we brought during the Yahrtzeit (anniversary of passing) of Rachel Imenu in 5778, at the time of the arrival of our holy master and teacher, the Gaon and Tzaddik, Rabbi Eliezer Berland shlit"a, to the holy Tzion (tomb) compound.

The holy Gaon and Tzaddik, Rabbi Eliezer Berland shlit"a, arrived at night (the night of 12 Cheshvan 5778, Oct 31, 2017) at the holy Tzion of Rachel Imenu for the day of the Hilula. Tens of thousands accompanied Rabbi Berland shlit"a up to the monument of the Tzion and remained with him throughout his stay there. The Rav shlit"a prayed for the salvation of the Jewish people, reciting the ten psalms of the Tikkun HaKlali three times with the public in the Rav's special melody.

The atmosphere at Rachel's Tomb was heart-illuminating; all those present united with one heart in a holy burning of pure and pleasant prayer. The Rav passed through the crowd and stood right upon the monument of the holy Tzion.
