In Life You Have to Go Through Many Turns — The Daily Strengthening from Rabbi Eliezer Berland shlit"a

The daily strengthening from The Rav, Rabbi Eliezer Berland shlit"a — A person must hold strong through all the turns that pass over him

Friday, 20 Nissan 5785 — These are his holy words:

This is the thread with its wrappings, with all the turns—because a person has to go through many turns; he cannot become a Tzaddik in one day.

If he wants to be Rebbe Nachman, he has to go through turns.

Even Eliyahu HaNavi wants to be Moshe Rabbeinu—but you can’t be Moshe Rabbeinu.

There is the teaching in Likutey Moharan (Likutey Moharan I — Torah 30 — Meishra DeSakina) about “turns”: through these turns, the kelipos are driven out—but it doesn’t happen in one day.

A person needs a billion turns. Every single day—let him live a hundred years; let him live a hundred years and make ten thousand turns a day—he’ll make ten million. A hundred times ten million is a billion.

Every second he needs another million turns.
