Last night, in the home of The Rav, Rabbi Eliezer Berland shlit"a, the joyous celebration of the final Sheva Berachos was held for his great-granddaughter—the daughter of his grandson, the mashgiach in the “Chochmah V’Daas” yeshivah, the chassidic Rav R’ Nachman Goldblum, son of the “chassan of the Nasi’s household,” the chassidic Rav R’ Yehudah Asher Goldblum shlit"a, and son-in-law of the head of the Nachalei Netzach institutions, the chassidic Rav R’ Shmuel Stern shlit"a—together with the groom, Rav Eliyahu Fishel (may he live long), son of the chassidic Rav R’ Yaakov Fishel shlit"a, one of the esteemed members of Anash in the city of Modi’in Illit.
The Sheva Berachos began at 6:00 PM with netilas yadayim for the Sheva Berachos meal. After a few minutes, The Rav shlit"a entered and began delivering a fiery, blazing shiur, with the central theme being Shalom Bayis and how a man must honor his wife. Within the shiur, The Rav shlit"a also spoke about several additional topics, drawing from the hidden treasures of the holy Torah.
After a shiur of more than half an hour, close to sunset, The Rav shlit"a asked one of the participants to lead the zimun over a cup of wine, and afterward The Rav shlit"a was honored with reciting all of the Sheva Berachos. After the Sheva Berachos, the orchestra broke into song and dancing in honor of the chosson and kallah, and in the joy of the home of the Tzaddikim. After about twenty minutes of dancing, The Rav shlit"a departed from the Sheva Berachos celebration.
