In the Merit of What Were Forty Missiles Thwarted at the Baba Sali's Hilula? • The Daily Lesson from the Gaon and Tzaddik Rabbi Eliezer Berland shlit"a

Before you is the full daily lesson as delivered by our teacher, the Rav, Rabbi Eliezer Berland shlit"a (may he live long and good days), on Monday, Parshas Bo, the night of the 6th of Shevat, following the Maariv (evening prayer) service:
"So, forty [missiles] were about to be launched at the hilula (anniversary of passing) of the Baba Sali. There were twenty thousand people there; all twenty thousand were supposed to be gone in a single second. At the very last second, in the merit of the prayers and the requests and the prayers on Shabbat, they succeeded in preventing it at the last second—the launching of the forty missiles at the Baba Sali['s hilula]. But unfortunately, there was just a terror attack in Ra'anana; one woman was killed and fifteen women and fifteen men were injured. It's all because—because not all women are lengthening their skirts yet; they are still relying on black stockings. But that is impossible. Black stockings are not a [sufficient] covering for the leg; it is forbidden for the leg to be seen. Michal said that she never in her life saw her father's leg, nor her father's trousers. Michal would don Tefillin (phylacteries) every day, and Michal the daughter of Shaul (Saul) possessed the greatest tzniut (modesty) in life. Therefore, 'Merab bas Shaul' is the gematria (numerical value) of 'Mashiach ben David Mashiach ben Yosef.' For a daughter who merits to truly lengthen her skirt and break her Xiaomi (smartphone), she will merit to bring Mashiach ben David and Mashiach ben Yosef and the complete Geulah (Redemption) speedily in our days, Amen!"
