On Friday, the 9th of Nissan, the distribution of Kimcha D’Pischa took place for our community members from all across the country, organized by the “Breslov Chassidim Union—Shuvu Banim.” More than one thousand families, may they be well, from throughout the land received a food package in honor of Pesach, including poultry, fish, and meat—worth close to 1,000 NIS for each family. The Kimcha D’Pischa distribution was held at 15 Shmuel HaNavi Street in Jerusalem. Hundreds of the distinguished avreichim of Shuvu Banim arrived in great numbers, and within just a few minutes they left with a generously filled basket in preparation for the upcoming festival of Pesach. In addition to the food packages, vouchers were also distributed to families for shopping at the major supermarket chains.

During the distribution, The Rav, Rabbi Eliezer Berland shlit"a, came to observe the blessed work of the Union’s devoted organizers. When he arrived, he was deeply impressed by the great chessed they merited to do ahead of Pesach with more than one thousand families from our community. The Rav shlit"a blessed the supporters and volunteers, and then traveled back to his home, his holy abode.
