Learning Torah is the Most Interesting Thing – The Daily Strengthening from the Gaon and Tzaddik, Rabbi Eliezer Berland shlit"a

Hagar was the daughter of Pharaoh, and Pharaoh was the son of Nimrod; from here we see that Hagar was the granddaughter of Nimrod.
So Abraham married the granddaughter of Nimrod. It is impossible to understand this, I will never understand it – couldn't you find a better shidduch (marriage match)?
The Daily Strengthening from the Gaon and Tzaddik, our teacher Rabbi Eliezer Berland shlit"a – Sunday, 1st of Tammuz 5784
You could have taken a shidduch (marriage match) from Shuvu Banim, from Rabbi (Shmuel) Stern, from Rabbi Shalom Arush – why did Abraham take the daughter of Nimrod for a shidduch?
I don't know, I don't interfere with him, but one must know that it is necessary to know the Parsha (weekly Torah portion).
If it is hard to study Gemara (Talmud), then study the weekly Parsha, say Tehillim (Psalms). Finish the book of Tehillim every day with the commentaries, to understand what is being said – these are the most interesting things.
Understanding the Parsha is more interesting than wandering the streets; there are so many kashyas (difficult questions), so many answers. On every word in the Torah there are a million questions; everything is the word of Hashem, and on every word there are a million questions.
Give the Yeshiva students a half-hour lesson every day.
