On Wednesday, the night of the 9th of Teves, Parshat Vayechi, a lesson was held at the residence of HaGaon HaTzaddik Rabbi Eliezer Berland shlit"a for the residents of the city of Be'er Sheva, students of the Rav shlit"a. Below is a summary of the lesson delivered by the Rav shlit"a for an hour and a quarter.

"Come with me from Lebanon, my bride" (Aiti miLevanon kallah) — all shidduchim (marriage matches) take place in the month of Teves; the month of Teves is the month of the Resurrection of the Dead. One must have alacrity in the mikvah (ritual bath). The Gemara (Talmud) in Chullin says that anyone who stands on one leg is considered like a child, even if he is eighty years old. "They shall still bring forth fruit in old age" — one must be renewed in old age, because one who does not study Gemara degenerates. All the great cultural figures of the nations of the world either committed suicide or went insane, like Beethoven and Mozart. Rabbi Gershon of Kitov took the Baal Shem Tov under the assumption that he was an am ha'aretz (unlearned person), but then they saw him performing hisbodedus (private prayer) upon the mountains, and a second before he fell between the cliffs, the mountains connected; then they understood that he was a true tzaddik. "Aiti miLevanon kallah" — the word Aiti (אתי) has the same letters as Teves (טבת). Teves is the time for pairings. Benjamin was given severe blows for "stealing" the goblet; therefore, he merited the Beis HaMikdash (Holy Temple) — "and He dwells between his shoulders." If he had received one more blow, he would have merited the entire Beis HaMikdash. Hitler said that the Jews are the problem of the world, therefore he killed 9 million; 6 million is only what is in the records. In Europe, they still believe in blood libels, which is why they believe the Jews are murdering the Arabs, but in America, they never believed in this. Therefore, they chose Trump there and not Harris. In 5671 (1911), there was the Beilis trial, and the high priest (clergyman) who claimed to know the entire Torah did not even know what "Bava Batra" (a Talmudic tractate) was; he thought it was a "Bubbe" (grandmother) — one of the matriarchs, because "Bava" in Yiddish means grandmother. Similarly, Sisera, whom Yael subdued, but "she covered him with a blanket (smicha)" — "Shemi Koh" (My Name is here), meaning that wicked man did not touch her. In Be'er Sheva, a great hillula (celebration of passing) for Rabbi Nathan should be held so that everyone returns to teshuvah; Be'er Sheva is where Jacob's ladder was. Be'er Sheva is 7*7*7 in the secret of "I have looked, and behold a candlestick all of gold, with a bowl upon the top of it... and its seven lamps thereon, seven and seven pipes," which results in the fact that in the future to come, there will be a Menorah with 343 lamps, in the secret of "For he also (Beshegam) is flesh." The incident of the Concubine of Gibeah occurred because he yelled at his wife. The Rebbetzin used to say that even if a plate is broken, the main thing is that the heart should not be broken; a plate can be bought new. The main thing is that the wife should not be broken. The "Gilgulay Neshamot" says that the incident of the Concubine of Gibeah and the incident of the seven-headed snake in Kiddushin 29b is the secret of reincarnations: the elder was Abaye. Returning to the matter of reincarnations regarding the Concubine of Gibeah and the seven-headed snake: the elder was Abaye, the snake was the concubine, and Rabbi Acha bar Yaakov was the people of Gibeah.
