Letter from the Great Rabbis Against the Arrest of the Esteemed Rabbi Eliezer Berland shlit"a

"It is regrettable about the arrest of Rav Berland," open their letter the great rabbis who, like all of us, were shocked to see Rav Berland arrested in great disgrace to the world of Torah.

"If there are claims and complaints against certain conduct, they should be examined within the frameworks existing in our community, and not resort to other entities. This is not the way. And Hashem will bring peace upon us and all of Israel." The rabbis shlit"a attempt to state clearly that the act of handing over Rav Berland to the authorities to advance dark agendas contradicts Jewish halacha.
