Letter from the Great Rabbis Against the Arrest of the Esteemed Rabbi Eliezer
Berland shlit"a

"One must be distressed over the arrest of Rav Berland," the Gedolei Yisrael begin their letter, as they, like all of us, were shocked to see Rav Berland arrested with such great disgrace to the world of Torah.
"If there are claims and complaints against a certain leadership, matters must be examined within the existing frameworks of our community, and not by resorting to outside parties. This is not the way. And may Hashem pour His peace upon us and upon all of Israel." The Rabbis shlit"a attempt to state in a clear manner that the act of informing on Rav Berland to the authorities in order to advance dark agendas contradicts Jewish law.
Signing the unequivocal letter against the police arrest were:
The Gaon Rabbi Shimon Baadani shlit"a, member of the Council of Torah Sages
The Gaon Rabbi Sariel Rosenberg shlit"a, Av Beit Din of Bnei Brak
And the Harav Hagaon Rabbi Y. Fischer shlit"a
HaGaon Rav S. Baadani signed, "I have always said that one must go where observant Jews are accustomed to clarify matters, and those who deviate will have to give an accounting."
