Letter of Encouragement for those Traveling to the Tziyun (gravesite) of our Holy Rebbe – Erev Rosh Hashanah 5780 – From our teacher, the Gaon and Tzaddik Rabbi Eliezer Berland shlit"a

"Encouragement for Rosh Hashanah and for all those traveling to Uman for Rosh Hashanah: Fortunate are you and how good is your portion that you are fulfilling the testament of our holy and awesome Rebbe [Rebbe Nachman] to come to him for Rosh Hashanah."

"For 'the eyes of Hashem your G-d are upon it from the beginning of the year until the end of the year,' because everything depends on the beginning, and then one merits a good end. For by coming to the Tzaddik at the beginning of the year, one merits throughout the entire year to walk every single second with the Tzaddik, as the Tzaddik accompanies us from the beginning of the year throughout the whole year."

"Therefore, strengthen yourselves to travel with absolute Shmiras Einayim (guarding of the eyes), and with Torah study and prayer throughout the entire journey. Be meticulous about praying with a Minyan (prayer quorum of ten) even on the planes, for 'upon every ten, the Shechinah (Divine Presence) rests.' Then the Shechinah accompanies us at every step, especially when traveling to our Rebbe, through which the 'houses' [spiritual structures] are multiplied by billions and trillions, and through this, we merit the complete Hamtasakas HaDinim (sweetening of the judgments)."

And I hereby sign with a blessing for a good and sweet year for all the holy travelers who are traveling to the Tziyun (gravesite) with the song of our holy and awesome Rebbe.
