A rare recording has reached us, which reveals a glimpse of the love the Gaon HaTzaddik Rabbi David Abuchatzeira has for our teacher, the Gaon HaTzaddik Rabbi Eliezer Berland shlit"a. The words are poignant and clear, and were spoken during a public reception held by Rav David shlit"a. While these matters are well-known to those who know the Rav, naturally, such a great tzaddik as Rav David shlit"a strengthens the feelings of the heart. Rabbi David expressed himself with the words: "Rabbi Eliezer Berland shlit"a is an angel, he is not a human being, no blemish can be found in him."

That student, who was a guest during Shabbat in the city of Nahariya, was privileged to pray in the minyan of Rav David shlit"a and heard from him the following: "Rabbi Eliezer Berland shlit"a is secrets, it is higher than our understanding, he is rectifying the entire world."
