Listen to the Words of the Rav shlit”a Regarding the Mass Prayer Gathering to Take Place, B’ezras Hashem, on the Night of the Fast of Esther

Following the success of the previous gathering held at the graves of the Patriarchs, our teacher, the Rav, Rabbi Eliezer Berland shlit”a, requested that a gathering of prayer and outcry be held. The goal is to stop the terrible bloodshed currently taking place in our Holy Land.

Therefore, he previously called for gatherings at the Kotel in order to sweeten the terrible decrees. These gatherings met with great success and continue to take place every single day.
The Rav has expressed himself more than once regarding the value of these gatherings and strengthened the importance of participating in them. However, after the tragedies multiplied, the Rav called for a mass prayer gathering on the yahrtzeit of the Ra'aya Meheimna (Moshe Rabbeinu). Many answered the Rav's call, and at the gathering that took place on the 7th of Adar I, approximately 2,000 people from all over the country participated. Together, they read the Book of Psalms and concluded by reciting the Tikkun HaKlali.
The Rav shlit”a was very pleased that the gathering took place and even said that it effected wonderful tikkunim (rectifications). However, the Rav added that the disasters are only increasing, with kosher Jews being harmed every day, ascending Above like the Korban Tamid (Daily Offering), two every day. Furthermore, great rabbis and tzaddikim are being persecuted in the public square. The Rav specifically mentioned the suffering being endured by the Gaon Rabbi Pinto shlit”a, who sacrificed himself for the sake of the Nation of Israel and was thrown into prison like a common criminal, without any shame or compassion.
The Rav shlit”a reiterated the severe persecution he himself is undergoing, even referring to the pursuers as terrible gangsters. In light of this, the Rav turns to the entire Nation of Israel to arise and assemble for a mass gathering, which will take place, with Hashem's help, on Monday, the 12th of Adar II, the night of the Fast of Esther 5776, at the plaza of the Cave of the Patriarchs in the Holy City of Hebron. The Rav anticipates and requests that thousands of worshippers arrive, so that together they may arouse great Heavenly mercy and bring the Yeshuah (Salvation) closer.
