"Moshe Rabbeinu Wants Everyone to be the Kohen Gadol" • The Daily Lesson from HaGaon HaTzaddik Rabbi Eliezer Berland shlit"a

Before you is the full daily lesson as delivered by our teacher, the Rav, Rabbi Eliezer Berland shlit"a - yesterday after the Ma'ariv (evening) prayer, Thursday night, the eve of 23 Iyar, Parshat Bechukotai:

"So today is Tiferet shebeYesod (Beauty within Foundation). Yesod (Foundation) is the most important Sefirah (Divine attribute); Yesod shebeYesod (Foundation within Foundation), everyone travels to the tomb of Yosef HaTzaddik (Joseph the Righteous). There will be shifts, there will be an army, there will be police. All the terrorists are being eliminated; every day a hundred terrorists are killed. The whole world is going wild [asking] how can you kill 'innocent' people, 'righteous' people, 'holy and pure' people—how is it permitted to kill such 'holy' ones...
But this is what is written in the Parshah (Torah portion): 'Five of you shall pursue a hundred, and a hundred of you shall pursue ten thousand'—this is the whole Parshah. 'If you walk in My statutes and keep My commandments and perform them, then I will give your rains in their season, and the land shall yield its produce, and the tree of the field shall yield its fruit. And your threshing shall reach the vintage, and the vintage shall reach the sowing time; and you shall eat your bread to satiety and dwell securely in your land. And I will give peace in the land, and you shall lie down and none shall make you afraid.' And after that, 'And a sword shall not pass through your land—five of you shall pursue a hundred, and a hundred of you shall pursue ten thousand, and your enemies shall fall before you by the sword.' So now all the blessings are being fulfilled. And all the curses [are turning] into blessings. It is written in the Heichal HaBracha, the Zohar asks how this is possible—now [in Bechukotai] there are 49 [curses], and in Ki Tavo there are 98. Together this is 147; with the kollel (adding one for the collective unit), this is [the gematria, numerical value, of the name] Nachman. For everything is in the merit of Rebbe Nachman. Everything together, 49 and 98, is 147. Plus one more is 148—Nachman. For everything comes from Rebbe Nachman. The moment a person knows of Rebbe Nachman, Rebbe Nachman says, 'I will throw him a part of mine,' even if he did nothing. This is like the mirror that ultimately colors the wall with the color of the mirror, and then all the decorations and everything are seen. The main thing is that a person nullifies himself to Rebbe Nachman.
Everyone was, with Hashem's help, in Meron; only Shuvu Banim reached Meron—Shuvu Banim succeeded in crossing all the fences, all the thorns, and all the hedges.
For every kosher woman is a spark of Esther HaMalka (Queen Esther), as written in Likutey Halachos (Laws of Circumcision 4:24): that every kosher woman is a spark of Esther HaMalka. Rivka (Rebecca) was a spark of Esther HaMalka, and Yael was a reincarnation of Esther. Yael is the gematria (numerical value) of 'Eli' (the High Priest). 'Tzipporah' and Devorah are the soul of Moshe. For Devorah is a spark of Moshe and Yael is a spark of Tzipporah. 'Shamgar ben Anat' is Gershom, the son of Moshe and Tzipporah. So both Gershom, Yael, and Devorah—all were sparks of Moshe, Tzipporah, and Gershom. Everyone was a spark of Moshe Rabbeinu (Moses our Teacher); every woman is a spark of Moshe Rabbeinu. Devorah the Prophetess was a spark of Moshe Rabbeinu, therefore she was entirely 'Lapidot'—'flames of fire.' Every woman who walks with tzniut (modesty) will merit fire from heaven, just as Devorah merited, for she was surrounded by fire from heaven, 'Eshet Lapidot' (Woman of Flames). Every woman was once a prophetess; in the time of the First Temple, every woman was a prophetess—in every generation, there were sixty myriad prophetesses, six hundred thousand prophetesses. 'Your lips drip honey, O bride'—it is written in Midrash Rabbah (27, page 2) on Song of Songs, that every woman is a spark of Moshe Rabbeinu. And every woman burns for Hashem, therefore she says [in the morning blessings] 'Who made me according to His will,' because she was created at the peak of perfection. Women did not sin; women did not sin with the Spies, they did not sin with the Golden Calf, nor with Korach—so no woman sinned. Except for Korach's own wife, who wanted him to be Moshe Rabbeinu, because Korach claimed he was Moshe Rabbeinu, and Moshe claimed he was Korach. Moshe said, 'I also want you to be Moshe Rabbeinu'—Rashi says regarding Korach—[Moshe said] 'I also want you to be the Kohen Gadol (High Priest).' Moshe wants every man to be a Kohen Gadol, and every woman to be a Kohen Gadol. In the future to come, every woman will be the Kohen Gadol, like Yael who was the Kohen Gadol; Yael (יעל) has the same letters as Eli (עלי), she merited to be like Eli. Every woman will merit in the Third Temple to be the Kohen Gadol, the moment a woman walks with tzniut (modesty).
And every woman needs to nullify the slit [in clothing]; we said [it must be covered] until the ankle. Every day a hundred soldiers are killed, yesterday a hundred soldiers were killed, every day a hundred soldiers are killed and a hundred are seriously wounded. Without hands, without legs. Hamas fires RPG shells; they blow up all our tanks. All the tanks are like cardboard, they are like cardboard against Hamas. Today Hamas has the upper hand.

Because the whole land is secular. As Rabbi Akiva said: 'Who will give me a Torah scholar and I will bite him like a donkey'—they give murderous beatings. Such a thing has not been since the creation of the world, murderous beatings to those praying. People came to pray, and they [the police] broke their hands, broke their legs. One person—Rabbi Kreuzer, who is the greatest Rabbi in Jerusalem, who knows the entire Shas (Talmud) by heart and lives on Rappaport Street—they threw him on the floor and broke his face. He had to be in the hospital for a week. Such hatred has not been since the creation of the world, what we encounter today—such hatred. There was no missile, there was no siren, just to hit the Charedim (ultra-Orthodox). But specifically in the merit of these beatings, everything is now turning around. In the merit of these beatings, everyone will merit to be in Uman, and all of Israel will merit the complete Geulah (Redemption) speedily in our days, Amen!"
