Moshe’s Humility — The Daily Chizuk from the Gaon HaTzaddik Rabbi Eliezer Berland shlit"a

The daily chizuk from The Rav, the holy Gaon HaTzaddik Rabbi Eliezer Berland shlit"a — “The Zohar says that Hashem told Moshe how to write every single letter in the Torah” Wednesday, 14 Cheshvan 5786 — “The Power of the Letters of the Torah,” a special shiur delivered to the members of Hitchadshus; these are his holy words:
The whole problem was that Moshe claimed he was Korach (because of his humility and lowliness), and Korach claimed he was Moshe—this was the entire dispute.
Korach said: “I am Moshe—who are you בכלל?”
Moshe says: “Right. I admit it—I am nothing.”
(Korach said:) “You’re not! You should be under the ground. Moshe rose above the face of the earth—he needs to be beneath the face of the earth.”
Under the ground? So Korach merited to be (himself) under the ground—whatever a person asks from the Tzaddik, he receives. So Korach merited to be under the ground.
Moshe says: “I am Bilam, I am Bilam, I am Bilam—I read ‘Vayikra’ as ‘Vayikar.’”
Hashem tells him: “Write ‘Vayikra.’” The Zohar says that Hashem told Moshe how to write every letter. (Hashem) told him: “Write a vav; write a yud.”
The Torah was not written just like that. Every letter contains secrets—secrets of secrets. With each letter, it is possible to turn the entire world upside down.
For example, a person prays Ma’ariv word by word, letter by letter. You can pray Ma’ariv in five minutes; you can finish the entire prayer in two minutes.
So Hashem told Moshe how to write the Torah. He told him: “Bereishis—write a beis; write a reish; write an alef.” Hashem showed Moshe a beis over the entire world—it wasn’t only that He showed it to him.
Achaz doesn’t believe in anything. Yeshayahu says to Achaz: “Ask for yourself a sign from Hashem your G-d; ask it deep, or raise it high above” (Isaiah 7:11). “I will show you Korach. You want to see Korach? You want to be like Korach?”
“I will open the earth for you now—see Korach! Until today he is ‘cooking’ in the ground!”
And all the generations from the First Temple era—the Tannaim—knew the secrets of every single letter. In every letter (of the Torah) there are awesome secrets—every letter.
If we are in Bereishis—what is the beis? What is the reish? What is the alef? 720 combinations: if there are 6 letters, there are 720 combinations. Four letters is 24 combinations. If five, it’s 120; six is 720.
