Motza'ei Shabbat in Ma'alot Dafna with the Esteemed Tzaddik Rabbi Eliezer Berland shlit"a - The Chiefs of Esau - Proud, Greedy, and Indulgent
Migdal Eder is the Root of Mashiach ben David

"Migdal Eder, Arad (274), is the connection of Rachel and Leah (274), it is the same gematria. 'And Israel journeyed and pitched his tent beyond Migdal Eder' (Genesis 35:21), when we reach Migdal Eder, Mashiach ben David will be born, because Migdal Eder is the root of Mashiach ben David."

The Chiefs of Esau - Proud, Greedy, and Indulgent

"It is written in Genesis 36:25-26, 'And these are the children of Anah: Dishon and Oholibamah daughter of Anah. And these are the children of Dishan: Hemdan and Eshban and Ithran and Cheran.' Dishan, Dishon, and Dishon, both Dishon and Dishan, because they were indulgent. 'Hemdan,' because they had all the desires of the world. 'And Eshban and Ithran,' they had more than everyone, because they were all proud, they cast their terror upon the land of the living."

They Were Such Geniuses, But Wanted to Attach Themselves to the Seed of Abraham

"Chief Dishon, Chief Ezer, Chief Dishan; these are the chiefs of the Horites, according to their chiefs, in the land of Seir (ibid. 30), they knew what to sow and what to plant, they were such geniuses, geologists, they knew what to sow and plant according to the scent of the earth, they were the greatest geniuses among men. All these were the children of Seir and therefore ruled over the entire world."

"'And Timna was a concubine to Eliphaz son of Esau, and she bore to Eliphaz, Amalek; these are the children of Adah, Esau's wife' (ibid. 12), Timna was born after Abraham, but she was willing to marry even Abraham, Isaac, or Jacob (therefore she was a concubine to Eliphaz son of Esau, grandson of Isaac)." Thus spoke the esteemed Tzaddik Rabbi Eliezer Berland shlit"a
