"Mouth to Mouth I Speak With Him"
Why Parshas Beha’aloscha Is the Highest Parshah — The Lesson of Rabbi Eliezer Berland shlit"a Last Night, the Night of 11 Sivan

Before you is the full lesson of our teacher, Rav Berland shlit"a, last night after the Ma'ariv prayer - the night of the 11th of Sivan - the Yahrtzeit of the 'Mother of Royalty' - Mrs. Atiya bat R' Moshe a"h, the mother of our teacher, Rav Berland shlit"a, may he live a long and good life.
It is written, "And he beholds the image of Hashem" (Numbers 12:8) - in the Parashah - "Mouth to mouth I will speak with him, and in a vision, and not in riddles," for he merited "mouth to mouth," because Elijah wanted the mouth of Moses. Therefore, Elijah entered the cave, where no one can enter among the Bedouins; there, one needs permission from the prosecution. So, among the Bedouins, deep, deep inside, there is a cave. And whoever reaches there merits "Mouth to mouth I will speak with him, and in a vision, and not in riddles, he beholds the image of Hashem"; he sees the image of Hashem, he sees Hashem literally! "And you shall see My back, but My face shall not be seen" (Exodus 33:23), for now we are learning about the face. Now, through the tzaddik, one merits the face. Through the true tzaddik, it is possible to merit the face! This is Parashat Beha'alotcha, which is the greatest Parashah of all the Parashiyot. For then, one merits "beholding the image of Hashem." Each and every person, according to their Ma'ariv and Shacharit, merits "beholding the image of Hashem," seeing Hashem face to face. It is written, "And My face shall not be seen," but he merits "My face shall be seen." So this Parashah is the moment when it is possible for everyone to merit "My face shall be seen." To see Hashem literally face to face.
And before going to sleep, the Rebbe says that one sees all the six hundred thousand souls - in Sichot HaRan (90). That every person sees all the six hundred thousand souls and all the six hundred thousand tzaddikim. And therefore, this night is the highest night because then one sees all the six hundred thousand tzaddikim, one sees "the image of Hashem" and one sees "mouth to mouth I will speak with him," as Elijah the Prophet requested - "What are you doing here, Elijah?" (1 Kings 19:9). Elijah the Prophet said, I want the 'mouth' of Moses, "mouth to mouth I will speak with him," for through a person saying the Psalms, he merits "mouth to mouth I will speak with him."
At the beginning of the prayer, our teacher, Rav Berland shlit"a, lit a candle for the elevation of the soul of his mother, Mrs. Atiya bat R' Moshe a"h - the Mother of Royalty - 30 years after her passing:
