Municipal Inspectors Dismantle the Prayer Tent of the Esteemed Rabbi Eliezer Berland shlit"a and the Shuvu Banim Community

Yesterday morning, Monday, 18.6.18, municipal inspectors from Jerusalem arrived and dismantled the prayer tent adjacent to the prayer house of the esteemed Rabbi Eliezer Berland shlit"a and the Shuvu Banim community, located on Ido HaNavi Street. It should be noted that the place served as shade and shelter for the masses who come to pray with the righteous rabbi. Those who had not previously merited to pray in such a unique and moving minyan as the minyan of melodies of Rav Berland shlit"a.
The upsetting aspect of this whole story is that the tent is located within the area of the students and chassidim of Rav Berland shlit"a, and 99% of the neighbors in the nearby buildings on Ido HaNavi Street are regular worshippers at the place, and the tent simply served them and their children.
The activist Beni Mahaleb was agitated in an interview he gave to the Global Breslov Line, "It is no secret regarding the identity of those behind the scheme to dismantle the tent that serves the entire praying population, and who incited this in the media! It is the same small group of Sikrikim (extremists) from Beit Shemesh who sometimes pursue soldiers, sometimes pursue police officers, and in other cases just pursue passersby who do not appear to them. These pursuers have been chasing the esteemed Rabbi Eliezer Berland shlit"a and his community for several years now."

"These narrow-minded individuals try in every way to hinder our steps without much success. Now, out of desperation that their plans are thwarted as they see the thousands drawing closer to Rav Berland shlit"a, they have targeted the prayer tent. Their claims are baseless, such as it disturbing the neighbors, but let it be clear that without the tent, the neighbors will suffer from the noise much more than the situation was until today, as people come to fulfill their fundamental right and spiritual duty to pray every day."
"I feel obligated to mention that the tent was initially erected for the rainy and cold winter months. In fact, last summer there was no tent, and we managed perfectly well without it."
