"My Books Cleanse the World"
Words of the Esteemed Rabbi Eliezer Berland shlit"a

Our teacher, Rav Eliezer Berland shlit"a, recently reached out and, in a private conversation with one of his prominent students, requested to convey an important message to his followers. These are the words the Rav wished to share.
"Such a wonderful holiday is approaching, the holiday of Shavuot; I have written a wonderful book of commentary on the Scroll of Ruth in its honor." The Rav asked rhetorically, "Do people even know what Shavuot is? There is an explicit halacha in the Shulchan Aruch: 'Thirty days before the holiday, one should inquire and study the laws of the holiday' (The Gemara at the end of Tractate Megillah [32a] states: 'Moses instituted for Israel that they should inquire and study the subject of the day; the laws of Passover on Passover, the laws of Atzeret [Shavuot] on Atzeret, the laws of the holiday on the holiday')."
"People think that Shavuot night is just a 'white night'; they think the whole point is not to sleep, they have a picnic, talk, crack nuts, and think the whole point is to eat dairy foods and ice cream. This night is such a holy night; they do not know that Naomi represents the 'Noam' (pleasantness) of Hashem, the pleasantness of the Torah, the pleasantness of prayer."
"The night of Shavuot is Ruth, who saturated (rivtah) Hashem with her prayers, who followed the tzaddik, who followed Elimelech. The Rav explains in the book every single thing (our teacher, Rav Berland, is speaking about himself), every single verse, what Boaz is, what Elimelech is - open my book and learn everything. People wait to reach Shavuot to study my book, but this is not a Tikkun Leil Shavuot; it prepares you to understand what Shavuot is. One must arrive prepared for Shavuot, to know what Boaz is. Boaz is 'oz' (strength) against the Sitra Achra, for one must fight and subdue the Sitra Achra - 'Bo oz' (in him is strength); he possesses such holy strength."
Our teacher, Rav Berland, continued and said in the conversation, "You want to know who Boaz is? Read the book; Boaz is the tzaddik! You want to understand who the tzaddik is? The tzaddik is entirely Torah and prayer; it is King David, whose hillula is now on Shavuot. He saturated Hashem with his prayers. King David would hitboded (seclude himself) all day, singing and playing music to Hashem."
Our teacher, Rav Berland, explicitly requested that we distribute this holy book. He told me, "It is important that people know that such a book exists in the world - this book will cleanse all the impurity and all the harsh judgments from the world. There are such harsh judgments and impurities in the world, but my books and writings, the Torahs and the prayers, cleanse and purify all the harsh judgments and impurities from the world."
Thus far are the words of our teacher, the Gaon and Tzaddik, Rav Eliezer Berland shlit"a.
