Prayer of our holy master, the Gaon and Tzaddik Rabbi Eliezer Berland shlit"a (may he live long and good days) for the 17th of Tammuz - "To merit not to burn the Holy Torah by opening the eyes to forbidden things, for we have remained orphans and there is no father, and that we should merit to be burned for the sake of the Holy Torah and to be surrounded by the fire of the Torah all the time, and not to divert our minds from Hashem even for a moment."

Prayer of our holy master, the Gaon and Tzaddik Rabbi Eliezer Berland shlit"a (may he live long and good days) for the 17th of Tammuz - "To merit seeing Hashem face to face and for the revelation of the Shechinah (Divine Presence), and to fast from dawn until the emergence of the stars, and to merit entering Gan Eden (Paradise) while still in our lifetime."

Prayer of our holy master, the Gaon and Tzaddik Rabbi Eliezer Berland shlit"a (may he live long and good days) for the 17th of Tammuz - "To merit atonement for the deeds of the [Golden] Calf and the breaking of the Tablets, and that I shall not return again to folly like a dog that returns to its vomit, which has become like something permitted to him and he feels no prohibition in the matter, and I should merit to do teshuvah (repentance) and not fall any further fall, and I should be meticulous in the mitzvos (commandments) to a hair's breadth."
