New: Uman Is the Holy Rosh Hashanah Gathering
The Greatness of Traveling to Uman from the Mouth of the Holy Tzaddik Rabbi Eliezer Berland shlit"a
It is known that the primary reason for the terrible campaign of persecution against the Gaon and Tzaddik Rabbi Eliezer Berland shlit"a is that the Rav shlit"a draws many good people back to their source. But more than anything, the 'Baal Davar' (the adversary) is troubled by the great self-sacrifice of the Rav shlit"a in breaking the path to Uman and in spreading the way of Rebbe Nachman throughout the world. Before the Rav shlit"a arrived at Breslov Chassidut, he searched extensively for the true and correct path with which one can bring pleasure to Hashem, and the moment he found it, he began to impart it to tens of thousands of the people of Israel. Here are some of the holy sayings of our teacher, the Gaon and Tzaddik Rabbi Eliezer Berland, regarding the journey to the holy gravesite during the days of Rosh Hashanah.
"The entire essence of the month of Elul is that a person does not blemish his eyes, and then he can receive the light of Rosh Hashanah. For our Rebbe rectifies everyone; the moment a person nullifies himself to the Kibbutz, he does not hesitate about whether to travel to Uman, he has no doubts at all. Yes - Uman is the holy Kibbutz; nullify yourself (titbatel) and do not hesitate (titlabet), come to the Kibbutz and do not stand out (titbalet) — they are all the same letters. Be a 'balat' (a cover); if a person is a 'balat', he covers and conceals himself, and he has no questions about the tzaddik, he merits to defeat Sisera."
