To Merit the Forgiveness of Sins and Absolute Guarding of the Eyes
Master of the Universe, grant me the merit that all my sins be forgiven in the blink of an eye ("K'heref" [305] "Ayin" [130] = 435), through teshuvah (repentance) out of love. And may I always be in a state of teshuvah out of love, every single moment and second. Through this, may I merit to be incorporated into Adam Kadmon d'Adam Kadmon (the highest primordial spiritual realm). And may I never open my eyes [to inappropriate sights] ever again. May I merit the trait of Gevurah (strength and restraint) to close my eyes hermetically, and never open them [to worldly lusts] again.
May I merit to be all my days like Rabbi Matya ben Charash, who called his student and told him, "Bring skewers," and then told him, "Bring me a 'burner' of blazing fire that shoots flames of fire." He placed the skewers into the burner, into the blazing fire shooting flames of fire, and then he thrust the white-hot skewers into his own eyes [to blind himself rather than look at temptation], as it is stated (Psalms 119:37), "Avert (Ha'aver) my eyes from seeing falsehood." Do not read it as "Ha'aver" (Avert), but rather read it as "Ha'aver" (Blind, spelled with a Vav), so as not to see anything on the face of the earth. Because the very first thing a person must do is blind his eyes [to the physical world], just as Rav Yosef and Rav Sheshes, the students of Rav, blinded their eyes from the outset. And as Rabbi Avraham ben HaRambam writes at the end of his essay on Hisbodedus, that a person must learn from the dervishes, who blind their eyes time and time again, and do not rest or keep quiet until they blind their eyes completely.
Through this, we will merit to be accompanied by the angels of the Divine Chariot, whose acronym is 'ARGAMAN' (Purple): Or Peniel, Raphael, Gavriel, Michael, Nuriel = 955. And through this, all four of our elements will be transformed: Mayim (Water) [90], Esh (Fire) [301], Ruach (Wind) [214], Afar (Earth) [350] = 955, into the four elements of holiness. And we will burn with a flaming fire for Hashem, blessed be He, Yomam (Day) [96] and Valailah (and Night) [81] = 177.
Through this, we will enter with our physical bodies into Gan (Garden) [53] Eden [124] = 177, just like Serach [508] bas (daughter of) [402] Asher [501] = 1411 [who entered Paradise alive]. And through this, we will subdue the 11 chieftains of Esau (forces of impurity), and the verse will be fulfilled in us (Esther 9:1): "And the opposite happened, asher (that) [501] yishletu (should rule) [355] haYehudim (the Jews) [80] hemah (they) [50] b'soneihem (over their enemies) [414]" = 1411.
