Prayer for Guarding and Protection on the Roads
Master of the Universe, Almighty, grant me the merit to be saved from the dangers of the roads. May I never be harmed, nor ever cause harm to anyone else. May I merit to bring every single day an Eglah Arufah (the atoning sacrifice for safety on the roads), just as Yaakov Avinu (our Patriarch Jacob), peace be upon him, said: "I lived with Lavan and I kept the 613 mitzvot." "How can I repay Hashem for all His bounties to me" (the Hebrew words of this verse equal 1060 in gematria), for He guards me on all the roads from drunk and drowsy drivers. Please, Hashem, Who "extends a hand to transgressors," do not deal with me according to my sins and iniquities. Guard me on the roads, even though I am unworthy and undeserving. In the merit of being guarded on the roads, may I merit the spirit of Mashiach, drawn from the Mocha Stima'ah (the Concealed Mind) and the Chochmah Stima'ah (the Concealed Wisdom). Through this, save me from all harsh judgment and accusation. And through this protection on the roads, may I merit the Hidden Light, the Light of the Seven Days of Creation, and the spirit of the Life of Life. May I merit to guard the three cavities of the skull of the brain (the vessels of Divine intellect), and through this to know wisdom and to draw down the supernal pathway. Then, all evil will be transformed into good, and through my prayers all accusations will be nullified. This will be achieved by drawing down a spirit of forgiveness from the two apertures of the nose (the source of Divine patience and the breath of life)—where from one is drawn life, and from the other, the Life of Life, the Concealed Wisdom. For the spirits within the two apertures of the nose are drawn from the supernal air and from the Concealed Mind, which is the Concealed Wisdom. This is the secret of the "King, Life of the Worlds," who draws down life and the Life of Life, which are the root of Abba and Imma (the supernal Father and Mother, representing Divine Wisdom and Understanding), which dwell together as one and emerge together as one. ©
"When you pass through water, I will be with you; through rivers, they shall not sweep you away. When you walk through fire, you shall not be scorched; through flame, it shall not burn you."
