Prayer for Parashat Korach
Now Korach, the son of Izhar, the son of Kehat, the son of Levi, took himself to one side, along with Datan and Aviram, the sons of Eliab, and On, the son of Pelet, descendants of Reuben.
And they rose up before Moshe, with men from the children of Israel, two hundred and fifty, leaders of the assembly, those summoned to the meeting, men of renown.
And they gathered against Moshe and against Aharon, and they said to them, 'You take too much upon yourselves, for the entire congregation are all holy, and Hashem is in their midst. Why then do you exalt yourselves over the congregation of Hashem?'
When Moshe heard this, he fell upon his face.
And he spoke to Korach and to all his company, saying, 'In the morning, Hashem will make known who is His, and who is holy, and He will draw him near to Him; and the one whom He will choose, He will draw near to Him.
Do this: Take for yourselves censers, Korach and all his company.
