Prayer for Parashat Miketz Regarding the Power Awakened on Chanukah | The Gaon and Tzaddik Rabbi Eliezer Berland shlit"a (may he live long and good days)

TRAVELING TO THE TZADDIKIM ON CHANUKAH

Master of the Universe, Almighty One, merit me to [attain the level of] the verse, "And it was at the end of two full years, and Pharaoh dreamed." The 'Imrei Pinchas' (Words of Pinchas) of Rabbi Pinchas of Koritz zt"l (of blessed memory) says that for the entire two years, day after day, night after night, Pharaoh would dream the same dream; only when morning came, Pharaoh would forget the dream, until the desired time arrived.

When the time for Joseph's release arrived, only then did Pharaoh remember the dream, in order to release Joseph and take him out of the prison house. Then he dreamed of good and bad cows, and of good and bad stalks of grain, which hints at all the 28 times (periods of time) that every single person goes through; for seven good and bad cows, and seven good and bad stalks, total 28, which hints at the 28 times written in Kohelet (Ecclesiastes) 3.

And Rebbe Nachman says in Torah 54 [of Likutey Moharan] that "Miketz" (at the end) has the same letters as "Kamatz" (a Hebrew vowel point), for the Name Havayah (the Tetragrammaton) with the vowel points of Kamatz is the secret of the Keter (Crown). On Chanukah, all the worlds ascend to the Keter, and the true Tzaddik will take us out of all the dreams and imaginations (false perceptions)—therefore, one must travel on Chanukah to the true Tzaddikim and light the Chanukah candle with them.
