Prayer for the molad (new moon) of the month of Sivan 5786
By the HaGaon HaTzaddik Rav Eliezer Berland shlit"a
Shabbat afternoon 6:41, 15 parts
Master of the universe, Almighty, from Whom no plan is withheld—when we reach the molad (new moon) of Sivan, Shabbat afternoon 6:41, 15 parts, please, HaShem, grant me the merit to receive the Giving of the Torah according to its halachah on the holy and awe-inspiring day of the Giving of the Torah; and that I may know all the Shas (entire Talmud), Ketzot HaChoshen, Netivot HaMishpat, Tikfo Kohen, 14 volumes of the Rambam, the 4 sections of the Shulchan Aruch, the 4 Tur, and all their related works—and all of it by heart, word for word, letter for letter; and all of it with mastery and with in-depth study, straight and reversed.
And each and every one of us should merit to be the greatest gaon 60 ↓ of the generation—such a gaon as has never yet been. And may we merit the verse "וְנַהֲפוֹךְ הוּא אֲשֶׁר 501 יִשְׁלְטוּ 355 הַיְּהוּדִים 80 הֵמָּה 50 בְּשׂוֹנְאֵיהֶם" ("And it was turned about, that the Jews ruled over those who hated them") 414 = 1460.
And through this, may the verse be fulfilled in us: "מִי 50 זֹאת 408 עֹלָה 111 מִן 90 הַמִּדְבָּר 251 כְּתִימֲרוֹת 1066 עָשָׁן 420 = 1460 מְקֻטֶּרֶת מוֹר וּלְבוֹנָה מִכֹּל אַבְקַת רוֹכֵל" ("Who is this that comes up from the wilderness like columns of smoke, perfumed with myrrh and frankincense, from all the powders of the merchant?")
