Prayer for the Molad that will be Tomorrow at 5:43 PM

Tomorrow, Wednesday, the 29th of Av, at 5:43 and 17 chalakim, the molad of the month of Av will occur. Before you is a prayer that Rabbi Berland shlit"a wrote for the molad:

A PRAYER FOR THE MOLAD OF ELUL—WEDNESDAY AFTERNOON 5:43, 17 CHALAKIM

At the molad of Elul, which will be on Wednesday afternoon at 5:43, 17 chalakim, the Beis HaMikdash must already be built—the Third House, a House of Fire, about which it is said (Chaggai 2:9): “Great will be the glory of this latter House more than the first, says Hashem Tzevaos; and in this place I will grant peace, says Hashem Tzevaos.” The first House is the Beis HaMikdash of stones that will descend from Heaven, and the latter House is the Beis HaMikdash of fire that will surround the House of stones. Only true Tzaddikim will merit to see the glory of the House of fire that surrounds the Beis HaMikdash of stones; the rest of the people will merit only to see a cloud and thick mist surrounding the House. This is what is said in the Haftarah of Re’eh, for Shabbos Mevarchim: “O afflicted, storm-tossed one, not comforted—behold, I will set your stones in antimony and lay your foundations with sapphires. I will make your windows of kadkod, your gates of precious stones, and all your borders of desirable stones.” Rabbi Yochanan said that in the future Hashem will bring kadkod stones measuring thirty amos by thirty amos, and He will cut them into twenty by ten, and set them up in the gates of Jerusalem. These are the kadkod stones over which Michael and Gavriel disputed in Heaven, and on earth, the two sons of Rabbi Chiya—who were able to revive the dead—disputed whether the kadkod stones are shoham stones with Yosef engraved upon them, or yashpeh stones with the name of Binyamin engraved upon them. They are made of every color and all seven hues of the rainbow. Hashem will place them in the gates of Jerusalem. Jerusalem will have twelve gates, and on each and every gate will be engraved the name of one of the tribes. Each person will need to serve at the gate that belongs to his tribe. Yet not every person will be able to pass through his own gate—only one who is refined and pure, free of every dross and blemish, and free of every foreign thought, Heaven forbid—only he will be able to enter the Sanctuary of Hashem. For the Jerusalem Above is not like the Jerusalem below. In the Jerusalem below, whoever wants to enter may enter; but in the Jerusalem of the future, only those who are truly pure—free of every dross and blemish, with no stain upon them—will be able to enter. About them it is said (Chaggai 2:23): “On that day, says Hashem Tzevaos, I will take you, Zerubbavel son of She’altiel [Yechonyah who is called She’altiel], My servant, says Hashem, and I will make you like a seal, for I have chosen you, says Hashem Tzevaos.”
