Prayer for the New Moon of Iyar by the Esteemed Tzaddik Rabbi Eliezer Berland

Our teacher, the Gaon and Tzaddik, Rav Eliezer Berland shlit"a, requested that the Tikkun HaKlali be recited at the time of the Molad. The Molad of the month of Iyar 5779 will occur on Shabbat afternoon at 2:49 PM.

The Rav said that at the time of the Molad, all the gates of heaven are opened, and the intellect is opened to understand all types of learning with speed and clarity. Regarding this, our Rebbe said that there is one who attains in fifteen minutes insights that another person would have to work on for 70 years.

To be worthy of all the healings and salvations that are drawn down in the month of Iyar, and to see Hashem face to face, and may all my enemies perish and be lost like Haman and his sons who were hanged during the days of the Omer.

MOLAD OF THE MONTH OF IYAR – SHABBAT AFTERNOON

Master of the Universe, Who is All-Powerful, the Molad of Rosh Chodesh Iyar which will occur at 2:49 PM, corresponds to the 49 gates of Binah (Understanding) that are attained in the month of Iyar, "Oyvai Yashuvu Yevoshu Raga" (My enemies shall return and be ashamed in an instant), for 'that which is in His hand is effective even against a strong force.' For in the month of Iyar, "Oyvai Yashuvu Yevoshu Raga" all slaves are freed from their slavery, and therefore, in the month of Iyar, we always read the portion regarding the freeing of slaves.

For the month of Iyar is the month of Ziv (Radiance), the month of all healings and salvations, for in the month of Iyar it is possible to accomplish everything in the world and to receive every salvation in the world, because then Hashem is revealed face to face. This is during the fifty days of the Counting of the Omer. For King Saul promised Merav to David, but "it came to pass at the time when Merav, Saul's daughter, should have been given to David, that she was given unto Adriel the Meholathite for a wife," who would dance day and night without stopping for a moment or a second. The main miracle that Merav was given to Adriel the Meholathite was at the Molad of the month of Iyar, for Nissan is in Chochmah (Wisdom), and Binah (Understanding) is in Iyar, the acronym of "Oyvai Yashuvu Yevoshu Raga." And then is the end and destruction of all the haters and pursuers, for this is during the days of the Omer, like Haman who was hanged on the second day of the Omer, and likewise his sons after him, "So may all Your enemies perish, Hashem."
