Prayer for the New Moon of Tevet 5778 from Our Teacher
the Righteous Rabbi Eliezer Berland shlit"a

B"H
Master of the Universe, at the molad (new moon) of Tevet, which will be on Monday at 1:20 PM and 1 chalak, at which time Esther entered the palace of Ahasuerus, which alludes to the unification of the Congregation of Israel with Hashem, which occurred specifically in the month of Tevet, in the secret of "Come with me from Lebanon, my bride, with me from Lebanon you shall come" (Song of Songs 4:8). The secret of "with me" (itti) is the month of Tevet [=411], in the secret of "Magnify Hashem with me [411] and let us exalt His name together" (Psalms 34:4). This is the secret of the complete Geulah, "concerning the redemption and the exchange." And "You shall be buried in a good old age" (Genesis 15:15) are the initial letters of Tevet. For Tevet is the month of the Geulah, and then the Holy Temple of fire must descend during this Chanukah, and then all the gates of heaven are opened, as well as all 50 gates of Binah (understanding) and 32 paths of Chochmah (wisdom), in the secret of Lebanon: "Come with me from Lebanon, my bride, with me from Lebanon you shall come; look from the top of Amana, from the top of Senir and Hermon, from the lions' dens, from the mountains of the leopards."
For the secret of faith is revealed specifically in the month of Tevet, when Esther unites with the King, in the secret of the Congregation of Israel with Hashem, and therefore this is the time of the Geulah, to emerge from the palaces of the "exchanges" (tum'ot), and to bring down the Holy Temple of fire. And therefore, we conclude the reading of Chanukah with the two staves. And then we offer "one silver bowl" = 930, at which time we rectify in perfection the sins of Adam HaRishon, who sinned for 930 years, specifically the "one hundred and thirty shekels in weight" to rectify the sin of the first 130 years, when the greatest sins occurred, and naked souls were created from which the demons and spirits were formed until the end of the ninth millennium, and in the month of Tevet, we rectify everything.
