Prayer for Tractate Yevamos, Particularly "Tzaras HaBas"

Omnipotent Master of the Universe, grant me the merit to learn and complete Tractate Yevamos, particularly [the subject of] Tzaras HaBas (the rival wife of a daughter). For according to Beis Hillel, [the offspring of] Beis Shammai are mamzeirim (illegitimate children), and according to Beis Shammai, [the offspring of] Beis Hillel are pegumim (disqualified from the priesthood), since they transgress a positive and a negative commandment. As it is stated: "The wife of the dead shall not be married outside to a stranger" {a negative commandment}, and "her brother-in-law shall come to her and perform levirate marriage" {a positive commandment}. And from the children of these rival wives came Kohanim Gedolim (High Priests) who served upon the Altar, as it is stated: "He shall not defile himself for any dead person among his people." However, a Kohen Gadol is permitted to offer sacrifices as an onen (a mourner prior to burial), even when he is an onen for his father or his mother.
