Prayer Gatherings Across the Country Against the Criminal Imprisonment of Rav Berland shlit"a - Words of the Kabbalist Rabbi Shlomo Elmelich shlit"a: Photo Gallery

In light of the criminal conduct of the judicial system against our teacher, the esteemed tzaddik Rabbi Eliezer Berland shlit"a, despite his severe and worsening health condition, the treatment towards him only becomes more brutal and senseless. A Jew nearly 84 years old is rushed for life-saving medical treatments and surgeries, and almost immediately afterward is returned to prison. Again, he is rushed to hospitals, and again they hasten to return him to prison. All this, while our teacher Rav Berland is the oldest detainee in the entire prison system. Moreover, no trial has begun against him, and he is detained until the end of proceedings - currently over nine months.
The students of the Rav, his chassidim, and many supporters are constantly organizing special prayer gatherings, along with the recitation of the 7 Tikkun HaKlali every day and similar activities. However, the situation has become beyond life-threatening and a tangible danger, therefore the rabbinical committee of the holy community 'Shuvu Banim' has decided to go out and protest. Every day, young men go out to different points in the country and stand with protest signs, in front of a public exposed to the truth that the general media does not tell. These are the words of the kabbalist, the esteemed Rabbi Shlomo Elmelich shlit"a, calling all the young men of 'Shuvu Banim', the students of the Rav and his supporters, along with anyone who has a Jewish heart - to come and demonstrate.
"We are standing to protest in the street and there is great interest from the public, many people stop and take pictures. Of course, the police came and tried to remove us, but they have no reason to do so, we are behaving properly."
"Meanwhile, we are receiving many very positive responses."
"We ask all yeshiva students not to come to the protests, especially from the yeshiva of our teacher Rav Berland, 'Chochma V'Daat'. But, from the yeshiva's young men, we ask to participate with self-sacrifice in the protest demonstrations, it is truly a Kiddush Hashem. I feel here truly a Kiddush Hashem. I very much ask to come every day to the protest demonstrations, our Rebbe said that 'there is no despair in the world at all.'"
"At 13:45 we gather in the prayer hall on Ido HaNavi Street in Jerusalem, from there we go out together on the protest route - it truly resonates in the world."
"Know that those who participate in the protests will have merit and a part in the release of our teacher, the esteemed tzaddik Rabbi Eliezer Berland shlit"a - it is higher than redemption, higher than everything."
