Prayers for the Yahrzeit of Rabbi Natan of Breslov from the Esteemed Rabbi Eliezer Berland shlit"a

B'SD L'Sh"M A"V

Asarah B'Tevet

Master of the Universe, Almighty, on the tenth of Tevet, when the Holy Temple of fire was supposed to descend, the yahrzeit of Ezra the Scribe and Moharanat, at that time each and every one can merit to be like Avraham, Yitzchak, Yaakov, Moshe, David, Aharon, Yosef. Cast down all the enemies and adversaries who pursue the nation of Israel, and grant me to be "exactly like me" and to perform miracles and wonders like our holy and awesome Rebbe, and may the verses be fulfilled in me: "For Hashem has comforted Zion, He has comforted all her ruins, and has made her wilderness like Eden, and her desert like the garden of Hashem; joy and gladness shall be found therein, thanksgiving, and the voice of melody."

You will arise and have mercy on Zion, for it is time to favor her, for the appointed time has come. In the merit of Machlah, Noa, Choglah, Milcah, and Tirzah, the daughters of Tzelofchad, who were the great fear of the nation of Israel, who sacrificed themselves for Shabbat and that the Holy Temple should not be destroyed, and desired to be included in the Tree of Life. For on the tenth of Tevet, it is possible to revive all the dead, and then Esther enters the house of Achashverosh, and then all the judgments in the world are sweetened, and if your sins be as scarlet, they shall be as white as snow, like Hillel who was covered with three cubits of snow, the measure of a mikveh, for Hillel himself was a mikveh of purity, which is the height of three cubits of snow that purifies all creatures who truly wish to return in teshuvah. For the true tzaddikim, our Rebbe and Moharanat, are the two great luminaries in the aspect of the moon and sun, who can sweeten all judgments in the world, as it is said: "Your wife shall be like a fruitful vine in the innermost parts of your house," for a woman in the aspect of the moon in the secret of the two great luminaries that our God created through Mordechai the Jew. For on the tenth of Tevet, we receive anew the two tablets, which correspond to Rachel and Leah, and hear anew the Ten Commandments. For on the tenth of Tevet, Yiftach attempted to sacrifice his daughter, and a heavenly voice came out saying, "Do not lay your hand upon the lad." And then we merit the twelve stones of the breastplate of the High Priest, who returns to his service, which are Odem, Pitdah, Bareket, Nofech, Sapir, and Yahalom, Leshem, Shevo, and Achlamah, Tarshish, Shoham, and Yashfeh.

Prayer 2

Asarah B'Tevet

For on the tenth of Tevet, the Name of Havayah is completed through the ten tribes that are included one within the other, which are Reuven, Shimon, Levi, Yehudah, Yissachar, Zevulun, Dan, Naftali, Gad, and Asher, which are included in the month of Tevet, which is the month included in Netzach, Hod, Yesod of Zeir Anpin, which is the middle bar that reaches from end to end. For all the work is to extend the "Yud" to turn into a "Vav," as Moshe called Hoshea Yehoshua, and at the end of Parshat Devarim, Yehoshua receives the second "Vav," which is the completion of the name Yehoshua, the initials of "Awake and sing, dwellers of the dust."

For to connect the two foundations, the foundation of Binah Leah, the secret of Achashverosh, and the secret of the foundation of Binah of Malchut, the secret of the foundation of Rachel, and when the two foundations connect, then this is the nullification of the kingdom of the nations, which will be on the tenth of Tevet, just as the kingdom of Haman was nullified during seventy days, which correspond to Cheshvan, Kislev, and ten days of Tevet, for on the sixteenth of Nissan, the kingdom of Haman was nullified, just before he was to receive the right to hang people as he wished. And the nullification of the kingdom of Haman that was on the sixteenth of Nissan is drawn from the power of the tenth of Tevet, about which it is said, "On this very day, the king of Babylon besieged Jerusalem," which is said about Yom Kippur, that the tenth of Tevet is truly like Yom Kippur, which would override Shabbat if the tenth of Tevet fell on Shabbat.

For the power of the tenth of Tevet is drawn from Adam Kadmon of Adam Kadmon, from the crown of the crown, in the secret of "It shall come to the head of Yosef and to the crown of the head of the Nazir of his brothers," for only Yosef merited the secret of the crown, which is Adam Kadmon of Adam Kadmon. And with this power, it is said regarding Gad, "He tore the arm, even the crown," in the secret of the crown of hair walking in his guilt, for only through the illumination of the crown is it possible to cut off all the guilty, and this will be done by the tribe of Gad, from whom Eliyahu the Prophet will come, about whom it is said, "He tore the arm, even the crown," for Binyamin is the arm, and between his shoulders he dwells, and therefore Eliyahu is also mentioned among the sons of Binyamin.

For through the month of Tevet, when the connection of Rachel and Leah = 274 nullifies all the wild beasts in the world that are drawn from the bones of the wicked Balaam and Balak his companions, which are also the gematria 274, gematria Arad = 274, about which Hashem asks Job, "Can you come out of the shell of Arad 274, and who opened the bonds of Arad?"

Prayer 3

Master of the Universe, Almighty, on the yahrzeit of our Rebbe Natan ztz"l, grant me, O God, full of mercy, to see Eliyahu the Prophet, remembered for good, face to face, and may the verse be fulfilled in me: "Then Moshe and the children of Israel sang this song to Hashem," and may I merit on the yahrzeit of our Rebbe Natan ztz"l to be a student and veteran of our holy and awesome Rebbe, and through this may it be fulfilled in me what is said, "You delivered the mighty into the hands of the weak, and the many into the hands of the few."
