Protest in Front of Tzalmon Prison Against the Terrible Treatment of the
Esteemed Rabbi Eliezer Berland shlit"a

Tuesday, 25th of Iyar, 5780 - 101 days since the imprisonment of our teacher, the Tzaddik, Rav Eliezer Berland shlit"a.
Gentlemen - Do not stand idly by the blood of your fellow.
In light of the worrying rumors coming from Tzalmon Prison regarding the improper treatment of our teacher, the Rav shlit"a, we must rise and protest.
Indeed, we must continue to protest against the criminal lawlessness of those entrusted with the kashrut of the lines in the 'Kosher Line,' who continue to support and maintain a line that is entirely conflict and lashon hara (evil speech) - a line that is entirely persecution and betrayal under the guise of mitzvot.
Indeed, we must protest against the injustice and wickedness of the judicial system in Israel, which has kept a tzaddik and elderly man at severe health risk in prison for over three months, without any proven guilt, based only on rumors, lies, and forged articles in the media.
Indeed, we must protest against the silence of the Torah world regarding the ongoing abuse and terrible miscarriage of justice against the Tzaddik, Rav Berland shlit"a, and the terrible persecution of his community.
However, at this moment, it is incumbent upon us to protest against the Prison Service authorities who allow abusive and disrespectful treatment of our teacher, the Rav shlit"a.
If we demonstrate public strength and community power in the face of harassment and inappropriate treatment by the Prison Service authorities, it is likely that this will cause all parties in the prison to guard and be careful with the honor of our teacher, the Rav shlit"a.
Therefore, it is a duty for every one of the students of the Rav shlit"a to join a one-time protest demonstration to convey a clear and sharp message to the Prison Service authorities and the other occupants of the prison, and to set a clear red line regarding the treatment of our teacher, the Rav shlit"a, who sits in prison for no crime of his own.
Since these are particularly hot summer days, we will hold the protest demonstration during the evening and night hours.
This coming Thursday is the early Rosh Chodesh of the month of Sivan. This is a day of rare and well-known segulah (spiritual remedy) to pray for the education of children at the gravesite of the holy Shelah in Tiberias.
This is a special opportunity to combine a proven and special segulah for success in the education of children together with a protest for the sake of guarding the honor of our teacher, the Rav shlit"a.
On Thursday, buses will depart from Shivtei Yisrael Street at 15:30 in the afternoon for Mincha prayer in Tiberias at the gravesite of the holy Shelah.
Afterward, we will all head toward Tzalmon Prison for Maariv prayer, the recitation of the Tikkun HaKlali, and a protest demonstration in front of the prison gates against the Prison Service authorities - meeting at Tzalmon at 20:30.
After about an hour and a half, at 22:00, we will return to Jerusalem - estimated arrival time is 01:00.
We call upon all supporters, admirers, students, and followers of Rav Berland from all over the country to arrive together with us at the gates of Tzalmon Prison on Thursday night at 20:30 to defend and guard the honor of the Tzaddik of the generation.
Due to coronavirus restrictions, the price of the trip will be 100 NIS per passenger - if there is a relaxation in the regulations to allow more passengers on the bus, the price will be significantly reduced.
In addition, buses will also depart from Bnei Brak and Kiryat Sefer. Advance registration is mandatory so that we can prepare accordingly.
Jerusalem Registrar: 058-3255-645
Bnei Brak Registrar: 055-672-1179

We ask everyone to organize with appropriate protest signs against the Prison Service authorities, and whoever can should also bring loudspeakers and sound equipment.
Do not forget plenty of water and food for the trip.
We are all meeting together at Tzalmon on Thursday night to guard the honor of the Tzaddik of the generation.
