Rabbi Berland shlit"a: "On the Day the World was Created, One Must Be in Uman"

"On the 25th of Elul, Hashem created the World of Asiyah (the World of Action), after creating the World of Atzilus (the World of Emanation) on the 17th of Elul, and the World of Beriah (the World of Creation) on the 18th of Elul. The day the World of Asiyah was created brings down a special light and shefa (abundance) to planet Earth. This is the day when one needs to be in Uman with Rebbe Nachman zy"a (may his merit protect us) because only there, with the Tzaddik, is the creation strengthened," said the Gaon and Tzaddik Rabbi Eliezer Berland shlit"a during the morning lesson after the prayer.

The Rav shlit"a further said that one must do teshuvah (repentance) out of love, like Rabbi Akiva. It is well known that the final days of the year correspond to each day of the year; that is to say, on the final Tuesday of the year, one rectifies all the Tuesdays throughout the entire year.

The Shuvu Banim flight, led by the Rav shlit"a, will take off tomorrow, the 25th of Elul, at 9:00 PM for Uman.

The Rav shlit"a entered the prayer hall this morning at 4:22 AM, and after a lesson on the Daf Yomi (daily page of Talmud), they began reciting Selichos (prayers for forgiveness) at 4:37 AM. Upon their conclusion, they recited the Tikkun HaKlali and held the Tefillin (phylacteries) laying ceremony for the Bar Mitzvah boy, Avraham Yitzchak Rozman.
