He was the Chief Rabbi of Beer Sheva and merited to ascend in a storm wind on Yaakov's ladder to the heavens.

Because if Yaakov had ascended on the ladder, then no nation or language could have ruled over us. Now Rabbi Deri has merited to ascend on the ladder, so no nation or language will be able to rule over Am Yisrael—he protected Am Yisrael in all his prayers.

I was detained in Beer Sheva from the 15th of Tammuz until the 15th of Av. On the 13th of Tammuz, I landed.
