"Rav Berland Saved Me in the Middle of the Amidah Prayer"
A Unique Rescue Story

"Hello, my name is Daniel Ch., I am 34 years old, I live in Hadera, and I want to share and strengthen others with an amazing story that happened to me."
"A friend told me that one day, the yetzer hara (evil inclination) attacked him, and he remembered that Rav Berland shlit"a said that one can call out to him from anywhere and he will hear, so he called out to Rav Berland shlit"a and asked him for help."
"He says that suddenly he heard the voice of Rav Berland saying to him: 'Be strong, do not break, I am with you.' He told me that it really strengthened him, and I, ever since I heard about this from him, also began to turn to Rav Berland in difficult moments..."
"One day we were at a shiur (lesson) given by one of the tzaddikim in the synagogue in my city of residence, Hadera. One of the participants in the shiur had an evil spirit within him; he actually had an attack right there in front of everyone."
"We all approached him in order to help him, and we waited with him until his father arrived and took him. After the shiur, we prayed Mincha. While I was in the middle of the Amidah prayer, I literally saw Rav Berland shlit"a in front of me in a way that is hard to describe. The Rav shouted at me, 'Get out!! Get out!! Get out!!'"
"I thought the Rav meant that I needed to leave that synagogue... After the prayer, I told a friend with da'at d'kedusha (holy insight) about what had happened to me. He said to me, 'But Rav Berland knows that you are in the middle of the Amidah prayer and that you need to concentrate on your prayer; he wasn't talking to you, but rather he was shouting at something that was trying to attack you, telling it to leave and let you be.'"
"Before my friend enlightened me with his words regarding the incident during the Amidah prayer, I had forgotten about it and did not connect it to the fact that before the prayer, I had approached to help the young man with the evil spirit... but after my friend's words, I suddenly understood what Rav Berland had saved me from."
"By sharing this story, I actually want to convey through it my thanks to Rav Berland shlit"a, the Gadol HaDor (leader of the generation)! I thank him for helping with this, B"H (with Hashem's help), so that nothing could harm me."
"I long for the moment when we will merit to see him in reality. May Hashem protect you!"
